Happy Saturday, Halloween Friends! Another warm one today, but it won't be as hot as the other day when it got to 95. The peak hottest day(s) now loom just up ahead, but fortunately for us, we see a quick slide back down when we reach the end of the month. I am really looking forward to those 60 degree overnight lows again, which should be here in just about two weeks.

I had a blast at the Halloween sneak peek. I'm really looking forward to hopefully finding some more code orange today during my travels. I have to make a Costco trip so if locally they have any Halloween items out, today will be my day to find them!

Next weekend at this time we will be standing on the doorstep to the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. That's incredible. And I'm lucky that July so far has not been a slog, I am sooo ready for Fall Pre-Season. Have a great day, friends!

Evening Halloween Fans! I'm off the next 9 days. It's my longest vacation of the year and I plan to really mentally get excited for The Bers all while enjoying the summer we still have ahead of us. Happy Halloween!
Enjoy your time off, Edge! You deserve it!

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you are all doing well this Saturday evening. It's been a good day here. Mostly laid back which I like. I was going to go to my friend's today but we postponed. I wasn't that disappointed as I was able to catch up on laundry and cleaning up/reading. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday to you all! The halfway point of the month is here. We're just about two weeks away from our next JOL Day. We will also enter into a 50's count on the way to Halloween Season this week, and lastly we can see from the counts above that next Sunday is a huge milestone with reaching 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. Folks, that is the final count we have in this thread that is in triple digits. There will be no more triple digits beginning next Monday.

We're just a few days out here from the hottest day(s) of the year. I can't wait to start coasting down over that hump. We have low 60's overnight returning by the end of this month. I can't wait!

Have a great day, friends!

I'm so ready for the transition to Fall/Halloween. Just a few more weeks, right?

Alright, it's time to tell you all about my latest new obsession.

Microsoft's Bing search engine has a new AI "Image Creator" that will create an image of almost anything you describe and in any art style that you choose. So naturally, what better way to test it out than create several Halloween and Fall themed images? Below I present to you some creations just from this morning.

"Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin in the style of Norman Rockwell."
1000000171.jpg

"Harry Potter and friends approaching Hogwarts in the style of Van Gogh."
1000000169.jpg

"A phantom train riding through a mysterious forest while ferrying the souls of the departed to the afterlife, fantasy acrylic."
1000000168.jpg

"A foggy pumpkin patch on Halloween night with an Autumn sunset in the background."
1000000167.jpg

And this is only a handful of them.

Some are better than others, of course. I tried to create one with Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie, but Jack always looked too much like Edward Scisscorhands and Oogie Boogie was always just the size of a cat. Still, maybe with a little refining of the wording that I used, I could get it to create something more on point.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Here's the URL, but don't blame me if you end up late for work because you were too busy creating images (not that I'd ever do that myself or anything):

Evening all!

Went out to check the garden today. I was pleasantly surprised by seeing 4 pumpkins have started. A couple are really just getting going but two are growing nicely. I am hoping they all survive and I hope I get a few more.

Overall the whole garden is growing nicely, with the exception of the tomatoes. They are struggling a bit. The plants are growing, but not blooming much. so we will see.

The bees are busy among my pumpkins and I am hoping I may get a few more pumpkins too.

I'm starting to see the Spirit of Halloween stores gear up for a soft opening. We have one major store that is not open year-round but does have people that go in and out from early June to about mid-July. They have their administrative offices next door, so that is convenient for the company (Spencer's Gift) to soft open in a week or so.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The start of the new week is here. It's exactly two weeks from our next JOL Day, and we will celebrate 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN on Sunday. That will be the last day until Halloween Night 2023 that we have any counts in triple digits!

Folks, the peak hottest day(s) for my area will be here this week - around July 20th. We will then begin the slow slide back down. Just about two degrees or so by the end of this month, but we see the most change in August when we return to low 80's and cool overnight lows. I've been ready for the longest time!

I wonder if any of us will find Halloween candy in the stores this week? I feel it's just about time!

I hope everyone has a great day, and keep thinking those Halloween thoughts. It seems like it's easier and easier now.

Morning Halloween fans!

My wife and I were talking about outside Halloween decor for this year. She is currently planning on making some headstones instead of buying the premade ones. That way we can make them the size and material we want and make sure they have the ability to stay secure in the ground.

Beetlejuice will be the overarching theme and I will have lights on the bushes and porch.

It was fun to talk about the possibilities! We also want to add some things inside since we are hosting a Halloween party this year. Can't wait!
