Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last we are back home in The Bers. That count is now gone from this thread, we won't see it again until January 1st. We've "reloaded" the JOL Day count, and our next JOL Day is on September 30th when we prepare to welcome in the glorious month of October.
The "official" start of Halloween Season is now about 2 1/2 weeks from today, although some people feel that today begins Halloween Season. Some people started Halloween Season activities even earlier than that, such as myself. All good.
It's Fall Y'all. Fall Pre-Season is now resting for another season and will be prepared to welcome us back next August. But now it's time for the good stuff. Our coveted 4 month run of "Bers" are now here! Have a great day!

Wow. I didn't realize we had a JOL Day this month. It will be perfect to usher in October. Happy Bers everyone!
Same! For some reason I thought August was the last one even though we instituted them during extra months this year. But hey, I'm not complaining -- a JOL Day in September will feel right at home during the Halloween season.
It seems surreal to be back in the Bers. It's a glorious feeling. I'm so happy today.
Now it's a time for calm and relaxation, but spooky season will be at the forefront before too long.

Hey my Utes won their season opener at home last night. Made it really feel like the Bers are here. Probably wasn't a fair fight though. The Florida Gators were fresh from the hurricane and you add that to the whole altitude thing and well . . . . .
Several months ago, the group decision was made to add more JOL Day's. We now have JOL Day's on every month from January to September, with the exception of April because we have Spooky Spring / Halfoween (halfway to October). When September JOL Day is done, there won't be another one until January!
Utah was the better team last night. Much better! It was a good win.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! 1st Saturday of The Bers, and obviously we won't spend anymore weekends the rest of the year without being in The Bers. That's a mathematical factuality, but still is cool to realize that we won't have any more non-Bers weekends until 2024.
It just feels so good being back in September. I still remember how it felt on the evening of 8/31. I hope that's a memory I have for a long time. It was a very special Jack O Lantern Day indeed.
Just over two weeks to go now until the "official" beginning of Halloween Season, and you can now see that we have dipped under 30 days to go until October! Exciting times indeed!

Hello Halloween fans!
Just got back from football game planning, and have more to do at home on my own.
Excited for this weekend because we should be putting up our inside Halloween decorations! That also means Halloween movies and music are full go! I just made some pumpkin spice coffee as well.

Happy Sunday Halloween Friends! Day #2 of the long 3 day weekend. It's supposed to be HOT the next three days. In the 90's. It kind of popped up out of nowhere. But amazingly enough the humidity is supposed to stay low, so it will be a dry heat and maybe not feel as horrible as when it is 90 degrees with 80% humidity. Definitely not the Summer Sweatfest.
The cool evenings are off-setting it. It takes all day to get that hot, but when the sun starts setting, you can feel the heat die down like someone turning a dial.
Tomorrow marks only TWO WEEKS until the official start of Halloween Season, and our next milestone after that, ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW, is the arrival of the "Final Fifty" to Halloween.
I've had lots of Halloween / Fall feels this weekend, and I hope you do as well. Have a great day!

It was hard to resist putting out my Halloween decorations yesterday!
Hello Halloween fans!
I cleaned up 8 of my pie pumpkins and put then on shelves this morning. I still have 8-10 more in the garden. A couple are pretty small and will simply be decoration.
The inside Halloween stuff goes up tonight or tomorrow. Just depends on when we get back from my mom's house today. I would like to get everything put up tonight and then watch a Halloween/scary movie.
