I didn't put any up, yet. But I agree that I won't last long, I think I am going to add a few things every weekend!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Labor Day! Today Summer "officially" goes away, even though I personally always felt like July 4th started the process of Summer going away.
The big update this morning is obviously we are now just two weeks away from the official start to Halloween Season. SyFy had a Harry Potter marathon all weekend long and it really hit me right in the feels. It's so amazing being in September.
Today I'm going to finish putting out the outside decorations, all that is left is for me to put out my plastic Halloween pumpkins in the mulch bed outside. Inside is done.
Folks, in just ONE WEEK, We start the FINAL FIFTY to Halloween.

Wow. 2 weeks to Halloween Season. I am going to put out the fall/Halloween decorations in my game room today and we will get out our fall decorations up in the rest of the house today or tomorrow. I am going to also try to get the autumn outside stuff up today or tomorrow also. I am still off tomorrow so I can take my time.
Evening Halloween Fans! We are just starting our Labor Day BBQ and every year we start talking more seriously about the Halloween Season when we're out there. We are always a little sad that summer is ending but super excited about the Halloween Season approaching. Happy Halloween!
Finished my fall decorations today and the house looks great. Lit up an autumn wreath candle and the feels are here. Really struggling not to put up the Halloween stuff. Will try and hold off for another two weeks. We'll see how long I last.

Well, the inside decorations went up last night. It was fun to do some decorating. We watched the original Ghostbusters while decorating. Planning on watching another halloween type movie tonight as well. I have been listening to Halloween music most of the day, and my Halloween cds will go in my car in the morning.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Tuesday to you. Will it feel like a short week? Or will it be a "long" week because of being off work yesterday? I think it doesn't really matter because we are in The Bers, and no matter how you look at it, Monday is out of the way.
We're under two weeks to go now until the "official" beginning of Halloween Season, and we are also making steady progress towards our next and "final" observed milestone in this 2023 countdown thread - that being the 50 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. Following that thrilling conclusion, there is no more work to be done except for enjoy the rest of Spooky Season, October, and celebrate Halloween. Sometimes it still blows my mind that all of that is literally "Up next".
I noticed last night watching SyFy, that they are now advertising for "Spooky Season all month long", so thats having scary movies the entire month of September before giving way to their annual "30 days of Halloween" beginning in September. I also wonder if AMC will have Fear Fest the entire month of October.

Hey, guess what? I found a Spooky Trail and Fall Festival to go to in October!
We don't have any cool Halloween stuff around here, but in Marshall, TX (where I graduated from college) they have a new park and have had a Fall Festival and Spooky Trail there for the past two years running! So this year we're going to check it out and attend my alma mater's homecoming football game while we're at it. It will be my first official Spooky Trail to ever experience.

Good Morning Friends! Happy Wednesday! You guys in this thread know how much I like Wednesdays. Today is the final day of the "mini heatwave", the heat is at the worst today from 1pm to 6pm and after that it finally, mercifully cools down. We are only supposed to see 70's this weekend.
We're five days away from the last milestone of this 2023 countdown thread, that being the 50 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. I say it constantly, but it still blows me away how fast it approached and just how little time is actually left.
Thank goodness for things like Syfy's "Spooky Season All Month Long". It seems that we are not the only ones that want to try and stretch out Halloween / Spooky season as long as possible. And for good reason!
