Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Monday and it's the start of a new week, one that will have an exciting conclusion when we reach Friday and the Month of Hope begins. It will be in the 60's today and all of this week, I hope the weather is not teasing us and I hope that March is mild and pleasant. This late in February I can honestly say that I am mentally done with winter and cold.
We're 3 days away from JOL Day #2, three days away from the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone, and now we've moved into being only one week away from 150 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON. Wow. Keep an eye on that count, that one is really moving. I've said it a hundred times but counts once they get under 200 days seem to really fly. Thinking about Fall Pre-Season gets me the jitters early this morning.
Tomorrow we will do our February recap, Wednesday is JOL Day #2, and then on Thursday we will have our March preview here. Have a great day, friends!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is finally over! Just ONE day now from JOL Day #2, and also coincidentally two days away from the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone. Yet another count will enter into the 100's territory when March gets here.
Today is the February recap, since tomorrow is JOL Day, and Thursday will be our March preview.
On the milestone front, we started "The Final 50", on our way to Spooky Spring 2024. And the big milestone, probably one of the biggest across all the threads, IMO, was the 200 DAYS TO THE BERS. We will close out February by reaching 200 Days to Halloween Season!
On the weather front, February brought us a couple of weekends of snow and ice, but then the temps seemed to get to almost Spring like, where they currently rest. Will March have this same kind of "good" weather? What was your February like, tell us today! Have a great day!

February has been unseasonably warm and I have been able to be outside a lot. I have skipped some of the usual hibernating-type activities but we never know what March may bring!

First of all, I want to apologize for the confusion on the count! Yours truly forgot about the leap year this year. Today is JOL Day #2. It's the 28th day of February, and my Halloween movie for tonight is 28 DAYS LATER. I'm borrowing that one from @The_Escalation who came up with that suggestion I think two years ago and it just made so much sense for Zombieairy/February and having that movie be on the 28th. So in a way, it is sort of a JOL Day "tradition", even though I normally try and change up my movies somewhat.
Tomorrow, when we do our March preview, we will also celebrate making it to the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone!

Yes, I totally and 100% forgot that we had a leap year. I'm so used to February 28th as the "extra" JOL Day that we added I believe last year. I will still have to remind myself that there is a JOL Day added now in June and September, since we took that vote last year and decided to add more to fill out the calendar.
That has made each month even better. I'm so glad you added them.

Happy Thursday, Halloween Friends! You can see we've reached another milestone day, this one being the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON! We will once again have another count enter the 100's, as time almost feels like it is speeding up as we exit out of winter and approach Spring. Just a quick note, our next "observed" JOL Day will be on Saturday, March 30th, which is also the kickoff to Spooky Spring 2024. Sunday I am keeping a sacred day for Easter, then Spooky Spring festivities will resume beginning on Monday.
I also plan on launching my film "calendar" on Sunday when we hit just 30 days out from Spooky Spring.
My Thursday Halloween thoughts today is on the month of hope, since today is the day we do the March preview:
