Halloween 2024 Countdown!

Can we look at that Spooky Spring count? 25 days! That is what my soul needs. I'm so ready.
Is it just me or are Doritos the number one chip to enjoy while watching a scary movie?

TGIF, Halloween Friends! We're finally here at the weekend. No better vibes ever than when you wake up and realize that its Friday morning. And coming home and relaxing tonight knowing you have a whole weekend ahead of you? Well that's a feeling that can never be duplicated.
We are marching right along in our spooky counts this morning. Just a hair over three weeks to go until our next JOL Day, which has Spooky Spring beginning two days after that. Folks, I absolutely cannot wait. The pending arrival of Spooky Spring means that "the worst" part of the countdown is firmly behind us by that point. I enjoy knowing that we are marching towards October again. We've been doing that since November 1st, 2023, but it just feels so different once you hit the halfway point. I feel exactly the same way when we hit the halfway point to Christmas. So it's pretty exciting times ahead over the next few weeks.
One week from today will be 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER! And we are set to begin the FINAL FIFTY to Halfway to Halloween in just 4 days. I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Nope .. either popcorn, dill pickle potato chips or salt and vinegar chips
LOL! I try not to keep Doritos in the house to reduce temptation but I am now going to have a bag of Original Doritos on hand for October and only for October to enjoy with Halloween movies!
I've been waiting for someone to ask me that! I mentioned it earlier in the year, I think when we launched the new thread, that with Easter being on Sunday the 31st this year, it just sort of felt "wrong" to me to celebrate a Halloween-themed day on Easter Sunday. So, my March edition of Dark Arts Sunday will be on the 24th, with JOL Day occuring on 3/31.

Happy Saturday, Halloween Friends! Is there anything better than waking up on a Saturday morning? Not many things, I don't think, besides waking up at Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas!
Get ready for some milestones this week because we hit 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER on Friday, but before we can do that, we begin the FINAL FIFTY on Tuesday, the 12th. The Final Fifty countdown to being Halfway to Halloween is almost here!
Our next JOL Day, which I will observe this month on Saturday as to not interfere with Easter, is now exactly 3 weeks away. It is the last time we will celebrate a JOL Day in the winter, and that makes me happy. SPOOKY SPRING is up Next, but it's still a few weeks away. We can enjoy springing the clocks forward tonight, and also enjoy St. Patricks Day and of course Easter, before we step foot into Spooky Spring.

When we wake up tomorrow, we will be exactly three weeks out from the official beginning of Spooky Spring, and will begin our "Final Fifty" on reaching Halfway to Halloween. I think I had a math error a few days back on this count, and have double checked this morning to make sure we are still on course.
We're in low 200's now on the "Days to October" count! We had THREE counts start off last year up in the 300's, with Fall Pre-Season starting off in the high 200's. In less than a week, we will be down to just ONE of those counts still in the 200's!
Hoping everyone has a great Sunday today, and hopefully can join me tomorrow when we begin our FINAL FIFTY to Halfway to Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We have now entered the FINAL FIFTY on our way back to Halfway to Halloween. It's hard to get many spooky thoughts today with 30 degree weather and whipping winds, but mentally I know that this is such a big time here in this thread. Spooky Spring lies just three weeks ahead. We are 4 days from the 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. That means we are 5 days out from being left with only ONE count that is down in the 200's.
I hope that everyone has a GREAT day and their Monday moves by at a not to terrible pace. March is starting to feel kind of long, but we've got Halloween thoughts to occupy our time!
