Good morning Halloween Friends!

This will be my first year taking part in Spooky Spring and I am excited. There are always movies and shows I just do not have time to watch during the regular Halloween season and between Spooky Spring and JOL Days I will be able to get them in.

The weather certainly has the crazy Fall feeling this week. Rain and storms for the next several days followed by some snow showers. Highs in the low 60s and then down to the 40s.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's finally here. Spooky Spring has arrived. It's chilly outside with off and on rain showers. What an amazing beginning to Spooky Spring, right out of the gate! Today we begin our month-long celebration of being halfway back to October, and halfway to Halloween, which happens at the end of this month.

I think this is the biggest time in this thread outside of Spooky Season and the month of October. I remember thinking back in January, trying desperately to make it through the month, trying to keep not only PCB's at bay, but also PFHB's (Post Fall-Halloween blues), and thinking of the upcoming autumn milestones and Spooky Spring, was like seeing a beacon far away out in the darkness. But it's here now. Later this week, we will celebrate 150 DAYS TO THE BERS. Suddenly, everything that we love seems like it's coming closer and closer.

My movie for tonight is "Ghost Ship", just incase anybody wants to celebrate along with me. I'll post my film calendar again just incase anybody wants to pick some of them:

Have a great day! Spooky Spring has arrived at last!
Thanks for sharing!

Spooky Spring is here!

I was sick going into Spooky Spring last year with covid, so I really felt I missed a lot. This is year all is good and it is time for redemption from last year. I haven't watched a horror movie since October so there should be plenty on the streaming services to dive into this month leading up to Halfoween! Happy Spooky Spring!
Stay healthy!

In two weeks, none of our counts in this thread will be in the 200s.

Night one of spooky spring has not disappointed! Ghost Ship is in the books now, I just finished burning what was left of a pumpkin/fall candle from 2019, and now there is a Harry Potter marathon on SyFy! This really could be an October night!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #2 of Spooky Spring! There's another rainy day out there and cloudy / gloomy skies. I remember thinking back in mid March and daydreaming about this time, and I wondered how many days would really feel like October. It's only day 2 but I haven't been disappointed so far.

Tonight's movie is "The Omen". The Harry Potter marathon continues on SyFy!

We're closing in now on the major, 150 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone. Everyone loves mini Fridays, but this one will be extra special because we are hitting a major milestone. And like Rich mentioned yesterday, it is indeed true that within two weeks, we will no longer have any counts remaining in the 200's. That's spooky indeed!

Have a great day, friends! Spooky Spring rolls along!

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you all had a good Tuesday. Spooky Spring is in full effect. And it feels good doesn't it? The weather here is miserable today. 40s and rain all day. Anyone seen spring? Happy Halloween!

No sign of spring here either.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #3 of Spooky Spring! Another chilly and rainy day, but the rain is supposed to move out this afternoon thank goodness. It rained almost an inch here last night. The rain at about 12 midnight was so heavy and hard, it honestly scared me and woke me up. It only rained like that for about 5 minutes, then it's been a light mist ever since. The ground must still be recovering from the drought over last summer because there are no puddles or standing water anywhere.

Tonight's movie is "Carrie". My 2019 "Buttery Pumpkin" candle from Hobby Lobby burned for the last time last night. There was basically no wax left. So tonight I'm happy to break out the "midnight spell" candle from Bath and Body works Halloween 2023!.

Thinking of B&BW, in not too much longer we should see some of the Halloween previews pop up. If I recall last year, we knew by May or early June what the new additions would be as far as wallflowers and candles, scents, etc... If I recall correctly they even sold Halloween items for a limited time only only in like July, with a special discount for members.

I'm already getting the jitters about this stuff every time I think about it! Have a great day, friends!

I want to apologize for my lack of follow-through on the memes leading up to Spooky Spring. My youngest daughter got sick on Friday night and was fighting what we think was the flu over the weekend. I dropped everything until she was better, and as of yesterday she finally seems like her usual self again. Still has a bit of a cough but otherwise back to smiling and laughing again.

Spooky Spring is here! I’ve waited for so long. I love the Halloween vibes this month. We were at Walmart last night and saw all of the Easter stuff on clearance, and they already had some Independence Day stuff out in one aisle! That made me excited. We still have quite a few months to go, but it feels like Halloween candy is right around the corner!

No need to apologize. Life happens. I'm glad she's better.
