Happy Tuesday Folks! The first "full" day of Halloween Season is in the books! The counts do look a little skinny this morning, I never get used to how they look so thin at the very end. The start of OCTOBER is now just TWO WEEKS away! Take a moment and let that sink in.

It's cool here today - we are going to get some rain from what's left of the hurricane, but the totals have backed off and I think now we are only going to get around an inch of rain instead of the 2 today/tonight like they thought we would.

I am seeing houses decorated for Halloween now on the way to work. Pretty soon, I will be able to see them lit up while I'm driving home. Driving home during the holidays seeing lights and decorations are one of my favorite things!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday, maybe my favorite day of the week besides Friday. We talked about losing counts yesterday, and it dawned on me this morning when writing this post that today will be the last time we have "Weeks to October" on our Wednesday weekly counts.

The first day that we put up new weekly counts was on November 9th, 2023. We were "full" at 46 weeks to October 1st, and 51 weeks until Halloween day. That sure seems like a long time ago. Looking back on the threads, I used to post the weekly count on Thursdays, and somehow got back onto Wednesdays. My intention was to post the weekly count on the same day of the week that Halloween fell on. So that means when the NEW thread goes up, we will be posting the "weeks" count on a Friday.

We will be able to say "Halloweekend" again, and I'll look at the calendar but I might even give myself a three day weekend for Halloween, which is something I've never done before!

Evening Halloween Fans! Today was a crazy work day. It always is but my job is like you write a list of what you want to do that day and most days you don't even get half of it done cause you get pulled 10 different ways about random stuff that comes up. Happy Halloween!

You have just described pretty much every work day of my life and a lot of my not work days too!

Happy Thursday morning, Halloween Friends! It's almost the weekend now! We'll feel weekend vibes roll in this evening, they are always amazing when they get here.

I've bought the new Mountain Dew Voodoo this year, I'm going to keep buying it as long as I can see it in the store because I know it won't stay on the shelves very much when we get to October. I think the flavor this year sort of tastes like Strawberry jellybeans. It's not my favorite but it it isn't bad. My favorite all time one is I think from 2017 or 2018 when it tasted like orange dreamsicle.

I'm kind of kicking the idea of keeping 8 cans to try and have for JOL Days next year, but I'm not sure if the cans will stay fresh that long.

The last JOL Day of 2024...wow. It's sad in a way, but at least we are in full-blown Spooky Season.
