I second pumpkin spice EVERYTHING. This past fall I ate everything with pumpkin spice and it was so good.
I could eat pumpkin spice every single day of the year. I’m not sure I’d want to, because that would make it less special when Fall came back around, but I never get sick of the stuff. When the pumpkin spice items go on clearance each year, I typically buy up enough to last me well into February.

Happy Thursday, Halloween Friends! Did you know that I thought that yesterday was Thursday? I even put up the weeks counts to October and to Halloween only to be disappointed that yesterday was NOT Thursday.

But now we're here, the weekend is in sight, and we've got exciting updates on the counts this morning. At long last we're in single digits on our way to Spooky Spring. Tomorrow will mark breaking into the 30's(!!!) on Halfoween, and next week we will see ourselves enter a 150's count on the way back to The Bers. How can that be! 150+ days is a long way away but there's just something about seeing that number and visualizing it versus seeing a 200 or even 300+ count.

Now that Easter candy is out on the shelves in plentiful supply, my mind naturally turns to thinking that OUR "Candy Season" is up next. That's right, special Autumn decorated candies and my personal favorite, Halloween Candy, will be hitting the shelves in around 4 months from now. The end of July is where I'm targeting seeing the first offerings, if last year is any indication. And that brings me to our Thursday Halloween Thought:

Did you know that annually, Americans buy around 300,000 TONS of Halloween Candy? That's enough to fill up six Titanics!

Have a great Thursday, friends! Think those Halloween thoughts. Spooky Spring draws closer and closer!

Hmmm, that sounds like about how much we at MMC can eat, so what is the rest of the world handing out?

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday! You'll see as of today we are now just 10 big days away from the start of Spooky Spring, and we're now in a 30's count on the way back to Halfoween! There's maybe no finer feeling than a Friday morning, is there?

Today is going to be 60 degrees and sunny. It might feel like a Spring day to some, but to me I think it will feel decidedly like October weather.

Have a great day!

These 12-foot skeletons were everywhere in my area. My neighbor had 2 of them and keeps them up until after Christmas.
I saw many of them with Christmas decorations on them last year.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's the first official weekend of Spring! And it's supposed to rain until a little after lunch time today. Lots of October morning vibes here right now with the coolness and the rain. But I think the biggest thing that makes me think of the Fall right now is that SMELL that is around when it is damp / raining.

You can see that we are now just ONE WEEK from JOL Day #3, and we have now broken into single digits on our way to the start of Spooky Spring. Tomorrow is Dark Arts Sunday. We should have lots of spooky feels this weekend with the weather, and hopefully my discovery of some Autumn items at Hobby Lobby when I go later today.

Looking ahead a tiny bit, we will enter a 150's count on our way to The Bers next week. Wow!

Have a great day, Halloween friends! Happy 1st weekend of Spring!
