Good Morning Halloween Friends! We're here now. It's the week of memorial day weekend and the week that will end with us taking our first steps down "The Road" as we finally begin our long summer journey back to Fall. I have been ready for the longest time.

We are going to hit the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS on Friday. The counts are going to look downright skinny in here after that. We will be nearing a 50s count until Fall Preseason, and we will be closing in on the next 100 day milestone, which is the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON. All of this happens over the next few weeks!

I hope we all have as good of a Monday as anyone can have, especially since it is day #1 of our build up to the holiday weekend!

May is having a great ending.

5/23/2024 Tom Turkey Day #6
5/24/2024 1/2 to Thanksgiving Week
5/24/2024 100 Days Until The Bers
5/25/2024 Rudolph Day #5
5/26/2024 1/2 to Thanksgiving Day
5/27/2024 Memorial Day
5/31/2024 Jack-O-Lantern Day #4

Well friends, this is THE week we've all been waiting for. Dare I say that Halloween seems closer than ever? I have missed Spooky Spring like the rest of you, so having the excitement build again so soon has been wonderful. I know I've got multiple trips planned to Joann's over the next several weeks to see how much their Halloween display changes.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is over now, and we start a new day and another day closer to Memorial Day weekend! Everybody in these threads knows what happens this weekend and on Monday.

Tomorrow we will finally be in a single digit count to JOL Day #4, but if anyone wants a big dose of the feels, check what Rich posted above as far as how May will finish out. It is an epic and thrilling conclusion. I will post it again below:

5/27/2024 Memorial Day
5/31/2024 Jack-O-Lantern Day #4

Basically starting on Thursday, we have a milestone day or special day basically every day of the week leading up to JOL Day #4. I'm not sure if there are any other months that have a run of days like that, or is May by itself in that department. Either way, it's going to be amazing.

Have a great day, friends!

JOL day is only ten days away and I've run out of Halloween candy. But I did get a bag of little Butterfingers for Christmas. I may adopt those into my, now empty, Halloween stash.

Every so often I like to check AllHallowsGeek.com for Halloween news, and with us now having officially passed the halfway point to Halloween, the floodgates have been opened.

Here's a first look at the General Mills Monster Cereals for this year:

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday. This has sure felt like a long week. I wondered on Sunday if the week would move by slow or fast, so far it's been going at a crawl. There's always magic in Wednesdays though, so maybe today things start moving a little easier. The holiday weekend is still off in the distance, but growing closer by the minute!

We have finally entered single digits to JOL Day #4. Spooky Spring feels almost like it was an eternity ago now, even though we celebrated the grand halfway to Halloween just over three weeks ago! So it will be nice to enjoy some Halloween vibes and feel again.

Continuing our tradition of our Wednesday Halloween Thought / Fact, I go back to Halloween movies today. Many horror movies have had lots of sequels, but does anyone know what horror franchise has had THE MOST sequels of any horror movie?

The "Witchcraft" film series, as of 2018, consists of 16 films! The first film was released in 1988, and the most recent in 2016. All films were produced very low budget, and all were released direct to video. The series is notable for the poor acting and poor quality, with many actors stumbling over their lines.

I have never watched even one of these movies, but almost would like to, only to see if it is as bad as many people say it is. You would think that something that had 16 films to date, has something going for it, no?

That's it for our Wednesday fact / thought! Have a great day! Let's keep crawling towards the weekend!

Naturally I have seen one or two of this films. I am the king of watching very bad b rated horror movies. Lol.

First, General Mills announced their monster cereals for this year, and now -- just yesterday, in fact, Mars has announced their Halloween candy lineup:

Bring on those Pumpkin Pie M&Ms!
I will definitely be getting those Pumpkin Pie M&Ms! A lot of them if they're really good. You could eat those year round as M&Ms never go bad.

Happy Thursday, Halloween Friends! We finally made it to Thursday. Wow, what a long week it has been. Yesterday moved a little easier, as I feel is always the case with Wednesdays.

But today we are standing not only on the doorstep to Friday and the weekend being in our sights, but we are also standing at the doorstep to the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone. I truly truly believe that milestone is truly one of the biggest out of our entire year of countdowns. I don't want anyone to miss it. Because I promise you it is going to feel different after tomorrow.

And on a side note, Happy Tom Turkey Day! I think tonight is going to be the perfect cooler, rainy evening to enjoy some old NFL football. Any kind of breaks that we get from the pending "SweatFest", is always a plus.

I feel the Spirit of Autumn and Halloween starting to power up - I'm excited for Dark Arts Sunday this weekend and JOL Day # 4, and these feelings are coming on right on schedule because by the time Summer hits, I am always at a fever pitch longing for both Autumn and Christmas season.

Have a great day, friends! Almost time to hit The Road!

I love how everything just feels different after tomorrow. The rest of the year is no problem, not even the summer months. While I can do without the Sweatfest, our reward is waiting just on the other side. For me personally, the fun starts on August 1st when Fall Preseason arrives, so I don't even have to wait the entire summer.
