Halloween 2024 Countdown!

This week's high temperatures (M-F): 70, 83, 79, 55, 56.
I am glad that it won't be hot for Halloween but as long as it doesn't rain I will be happy. I hope to take advantage of the warmer temps and get as much of my winterizing done before Thursday- nothing major but many things need to get to the basement before the hard freezes hit--batteries, paints, some crafting supplies and another round of pest patrol!

Good morning Halloween Fans!
The Halloween party last night was a success. Although we have quite a few leftovers. But it was a lot of fun, a lot of great costumes, and it was nice to just relax and talk to friends.
Now, only a few days from Halloween! Lots of movies to try to watch throughout the week. The weather is going to turn warm again. We are going to be around 80 Tuesday and Wednesday. Then rain and cooling down on Halloween.

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope your day is going well. I'm heading off in about an hour and a half to my 3rd annual Pure Terror Scream Park. It is awesome fun. We're going to dinner at the same place we've gone the last 2 previous years before it. Love traditions. Happy Halloween!
Howdy Halloween lovers! We've completed all of our Halloween season events. How about y'all? Any more good stuff this week? We will carve pumpkins the day before, hand out candy from the driveway the night of, then we go out to eat after trick-or-treat. Wondering where we will go eat because the restaurant we usually go to on Halloween shut down this year. The day after is when I get excited because down come the Halloween decorations and up go the Thanksgiving ones! Have a fantastic week ahead y'all!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's 33 degrees outside! We turned the pellet stove on last night at about 8 o clock to take the chill out, as we knew overnight it was going to get cold. As cold as it is today, we are actually warming up again big time, and as of right now, it is supposed to be 80 degrees on Halloween. I wonder if that is a record for our area. Still look like we have upper 70's to start November.
We are just 3 days away now from Halloween and the BIG DAY that all of us who frequent this thread seek throughout the year. As sad as it is to mention, I will start work on the "new" Halloween thread probably later tonight or tomorrow, to have us "ready to go" when Halloween ends on Thursday night.
But until then, we have 3 days left of wonderful October. Let's enjoy every one of them! Have a great Monday!

Here we have a high or 82, low of 61 with sunny skies for the daytime and clear skies for the night. No rain though, which is good.
Low of 34, high of 54. Bit chilly for the trick or treaters.
Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you are all keeping spooky. Our week of Halloween is here. It really is amazing. I had a crazy Monday at work. I am really tired from last night's Halloween event. I'm not much of a late night person to me (as in after 8PM is late to me now lol). Happy Halloween!

Happy Tuesday Folks! Monday is over now, so everything is better! We continue to crawl through this week and now we see that only TWO days, and less than 42 hours stand until the clock strikes midnight on the morning of 10/31!!
As it stands right now, Halloween is going to be 80 degrees here. Definitely strange, especially after the past few cooler / milder weeks we have had.
I wanted to share one of my pictures from my skyline drive trip:
I'm hoping to be finished editing the rest and hopefully have the album uploaded here tomorrow or possibly on Halloween!
