Thanks. They made me laugh because they reminded me of the old "Funny Face" drink mix cups they used to sell in the early 70s (yes, I'm old!). I can't find much about them other than possibly from the late 90s.
I also can't remember if I mentioned it or not, but the TV they are sitting on at the moment was an estate sale find for cheap. It's the same model TV used in Poltergeist.

We're going to see our "Halfoween" count enter the 30's THIS WEEKEND, and our "Fall Preseason" count continues to inch closer and closer to its 100 Day milestone. That count is just wild to me here in mid-March.
On the immediate front we are under two weeks to go to the official start to Spooky Spring, and rolling in to the penultimate weekend before Spooky Spring Kick Off Weekend! It's a good place to be.

We are finally through winter. I have said it a dozen times or so but i truly believe that was the worst winter I have ever been through.
Spring brings a lot of hope and a lot of excitement because (hopefully) the brutal cold and wind is over. And my wish is that we have a true Spring season before going straight to summer weather.
Time marches on! Under two weeks to go now on both our beginning to Spooky Spring AND JOL Day #3. And we will see the Halfoween count dip into the 30's on Sunday! That's wild!

I agree...that was a fairly brutal winter. I'm happy that as I write this that winter is in its last dying breaths. I just may have a small celebration at 10:46 a.m. (EST).

I waited too long to look for St. Patrick's Day decor again this year. Is it getting squeezed out by Valentine's and Easter, or did I spend too many weekends at home in January?
The last time I went in Hobby Lobby, it was late January. They had it out then nestled along with the Valentines stuff.

The good news is, that NEXT WEEK, as we prepare to enter into Spooky Spring, I am off work on Good Friday, so that should make that week feel a little shorter.
Checking our counts this morning, we're in SINGLE DIGITS now on both our JOL Day Count, and Days to Spooky Spring. Folks, we had our first 90 DEGREE DAY yesterday. I have a terrible feeling we are going to jump straight to summer. I hope not, for the sake of having a "normal" Spooky Spring that feels like October weather, but also because mentally I don't think I (or anyone) is ready to imagine fighting The Sweat Fest for 5/6 months. Hopefully we won't need to.

I see three Monday “duds,” for sure, but that’s still a super fun roster. One unexpected surprise (for me, at least) was seeing The Mummy on there. I have never thought of The Mummy as a Halloween movie before, but you know what? It works! He is technically a classic movie monster, and as delightfully campy as that movie is, I think I’m going to add it to my Spooky Season viewings as well!
On April 1, you have Ghost Ship. The first 5 minutes of that movie are WILD!
