Halloween 2026 Countdown!

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 12

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Monday again, and we're crawling through another week and headed toward another weekend that has the distinction of being "The weekend before" Halloween.

We speak about "The weekend before" the big 3 holidays lovingly across all the threads here, and in truth, it's always a big deal.

Yesterday the weather at the pumpkin patch was just gorgeous. I obviously knew it was October, but the way the sun felt along with the chill, it made me think back to Spooky Spring. Even in the heart of October now, I feel like that might have been Spooky Spring reaching out to me.

I have kind of a rough draft of my plans for the "new" thread for Halloween 2027, but I haven't sunk any serious time into it yet, I plan on doing that next week.

Halloween Friends, I hope you are well, nobody likes Monday but we will get through this one together! Have a great day!

This weekend we drove around town to check out the Halloween lights and decorations. Of course I had some spooky Halloween music playing in the car as accompaniment.

We were really disappointed. Our little town simply did not “show up” this year. It seemed that there were way fewer lights and decorations out than last year. Even our favorite neighborhood, who typically hosts their own contest every year for the best decorated house, decided to “opt-out” this year as there were only a handful of houses participating. The houses that were decorated looked awesome, but they were few and far between.

I can only hope that Christmas isn’t the same way this year.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a nice day out there. Lots of sunshine and after a chilly start (39) it should reach a mild afternoon (64). Pleasant. Yesterday's 4th annual "Headless Horseman" event was so much fun. I hope you read about it tomorrow in the Hang Out. I'm in the Halloween Spirit 100% right now. Happy Halloween!
