Halloween 2026 Countdown!

Of the Big 3 holidays that we’re returning to in 2026, Halloween is the one that I’m most excited for right now, simply because it seems like it’s been an eternity since Halloween ended. In reality, it’s only been two months! Crazy the effect that the Bers have on our perception of time. Regardless, I’m looking forward to the first JOL Day of the year and can’t wait to reach Spooky Spring. I really want to go all out this year with my Halloween celebrations.

Happy New Year Pumpkin Folks!

Eagle Eyed viewers will notice that this morning we have a new count returning to the lineup. We're officially counting back to THE BERS. They just ended but friends, that is amazing to see that count again.

Edge made a great point this morning, we start off in a pretty good place on our way to The Bers, because most of our counts start off well north of 300 days.

The very 1st JOL Day of 2026 lies just 30 days ahead. I have a hunch my January might move fast this year. If I make it out of January and feeling like time is still moving, maybe I'll have the winter doldrums whipped. It's too early for me to get overconfident. I'll just describe myself today as "cautiously optimistic".

Good morning, Halloween haunters! We continue our journey back towards the most spooky time of the year with some scary new countdown numbers today. The nice, round numbers of yesterday are gone, which just means we are creeping ever closer to that first, long-awaited JOL Day at the end of January, and - even more exciting - Spooky Spring, which is now officially less than 3 months away!

As if that wasn't exciting enough, you'll notice that our Days to Halloween countdown is dangerously close to killing off the 300s in this thread. After Sunday, we can bury the last remaining 300 count for now...until it rises once again on November 1st. Additionally, in under two weeks we will reach the end of the 200-count for Fall Preseason!

Better late than never! TGIF and we are heading into the first weekend of the dreaded January. I'm hoping we have a peaceful and relaxing month. January is a perfect month for both reflection and looking towards the future.

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

The first Saturday of January is here! We are all now continuing to take our first steps into the new year with the goal obviously being to exit the longest, darkest part of the winter. One day at a time!

We stand today on the doorstep of a major milestone, and the very FINAL TIME we will see a 300 level countdown in this thread. We won't see 300's again until November 1st next year!

And indeed, at the end of this month, we will have made it a QUARTER of the way back to Halloween!

But one day at a time folks. Still early January and still lots of time to go. We'll get through the month together! Have a great January Saturday!

Me too .. I feel like I missed half of Halloween for being on vacation in Oct. A noreaster storm hit here while were gone, some of our outside decorations got damaged and it triggered a power surge that shorted out our garage freezer. Didn't get to watch half of the Halloween movies/shows that I normally would.

Good Morning Folks! We wake up this 1st Sunday morning with a major milestone to celebrate.

Can you believe that it's now just 300 days to Halloween? How was Halloween over two months ago? Another fact for today, is that we are celebrating the very FINAL 300 Day count in this thread. Sorry Count! We may see "The Count" again as he flies in to remind us of important milestones or things coming up.

It's just unbelievable to me here in very early January that we have already went through all of our 300 level counts.

Our next milestone after today will be the 200 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON milestone, which arrives in precisely 9 days. That is also going to be a big one and just seems IMPOSSIBLE to fathom here in January that something can "feel" that close. But as you know, The Count never lies! Have a great Sunday!
 
Hello Halloween Fans! I love The Count by the way. Always loved him and it makes me think of Christmas Eve On Sesame Street. He played a small but funny role in it. The Sunday Group is heading to the city to celebrate the last day of a Christmas event. Happy Halloween!
