Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday to you!

Day #2 of my Three Day Weekend! Count wise, I'm happy to report that we are now just TWO DAYS away from the 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN milestone, and now we are just ONE WEEK AWAY from the major milestone of 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER. Folks, that's a big one, and psychologically a booster as we enter the latter stages of January.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday! Let those Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween thoughts rip, as our first batch of MMC Special Days of 2026' arrive in the next week!

I agree, these milestones keep me focused on the new year and helps keep the PCBs at bay!
 
Hello Halloween Fans! We have had a snowy weekend. Not a blizzard or anything crazy but consistent snow on and off all weekend long. It's added up to several inches of snow with a couple of more inches possible this evening. Happy Halloween!

I saw your pictures / video! That's more than we got up here in Northern VA. It's weird. But, as of right now, we are watching for a big snow storm to be next Sunday / Monday right now that has calls anywhere from 7 inches to a foot. I'd be happy with "just" 7 inches!!

Merry Monday! And Happy MILESTONE EVE Day to you once again!

When we wake up tomorrow, the celebration will be for 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. Can we really be that close to being HALFWAY BACK to OUR TIME? 100 Days is still a long way but let me say for the thousandth (maybe millionth?) time, everyone knows what happens to a count when we get it under 100 days.

January so far has been mild, if not almost pleasant. This is the final week for the "big" Christmas Tree here at home, so in all honesty, I am not looking forward to taking it down and putting it away, as I will just be left with that last, dark, week of the month. Rumor has it we might get some snow this weekend, so if that's the case, *maybe* the tree stays up a couple more days to run along with the snow outside, to capture those last "true" feels of Christmas.

But we keep moving forward either way! I hope everyone has a great Sunday!
 
Normally I wouldn't wish a weekend of snow on a friend but a few more days of the glow of the Christmas tree and snow sounds like a nice way to spend Rudolph Eve and Rudolph Day #1. A bit of a re-do of last Christmas and a preview of next Christmas?

They have us getting anywhere from 5+ inches or up to an inch of ice...

For us it might feel as "real" as it can get as I plan on having us wake up that morning, open a few presents under the tree, and then eat a "Christmas Morning" breakfast!
 
Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a winter wonderland out there after our weekend snow (both days). Not much if any is going to melt this week with colder temperatures expected. Busy Monday at work. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Milestone Day! It is indeed 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN, which is coming our way in just about 3 months from now! By that logic, I suppose some could say that we are nearly half way back to being halfway back! The real countdown to the countdown is what I live for here across these threads.

Tomorrow, this count enters into double digit territory, joining the company of the Spooky Spring count which has also been in double digit territory for some time.

Our next milestone will be on Sunday, as we reach 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER. We will hopefully be in a winter wonderland then. And also then we can finally say that we are preparing to exit January. I do believe the "longness" of the month is starting to get to me.

Happy Milestone Day! 100 days to Halfoween...wow. I'm so, so glad.

And with the first 2026 JOL Day coming up at the end of this month, I'm going to get some much needed Halloween feels. It's been a good couple of months without any spookiness whatsoever.
 
Dang? Only 100 days. Amazing. On the surface, it sounds like a lot, but I know when it's 100 days until Xmas that time just FLIES. Every year I look forward to Halfoween more and more. I'm even getting into the spirit of the JOL days. I also just realized with Rudolph Day coming up that I'm now looking forward to next Christmas vs. having post-Christmas blues. All of these countdowns are so great.

Happy Hump Day Halloween Friends!

Let me tell you, yesterday really felt like a Monday. I dislike going back to work sort of in the middle of the week, it makes everything feel crazy. We're probably going to be in the same situation next week, I figure we will at least be off Monday, quite possibly Tuesday as well because of the snow storm. It looks to be major here - 25-31 inches on Sunday, which would put it probably in the top 10, quite possibly top 5 storms of all time for our area here.

On our Halloween counts - we're getting ready to see SINGLE DIGITS on our Days to JOL Day count, and now you can see above that our Halfoween count has now joined the company of double digits!

There's buzz in the air about this snowstorm. I love how it feels. That buzz in the air honestly makes me get Big 3 vibes. The energy is very similar.
