Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's a chilly rainy Sunday here. We needed the rain bad, as we are about 2 inches below normal for this time of year. The good news is that we have a lot more rain coming at the end of next week, and early predictions for May look kind of wet.

We're moving right along in the countdowns, well under two weeks now until Halfoween, and we will see the 100 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON milestone on Thursday, perhaps another re-assuring sign from the universe, as we go for our surgery consult that day.

When today's activities are all done, we settle in tonight for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. The Sunday Group just had an hour phone conference as my uncle has the flu so our plans to go out for lunch are canceled. It's funny we got lucky we had no major plans today (city trip etc.) so it worked out ok. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

It's a new week once again, but fortunately for me this week it will be a short one, as I'm off half a day on Friday. Next week I will be out two days. We have our surgery consult this week on Thursday, and hope that is scheduled soon so we can get it over and done with, that way we have the whole summer and Bers to enjoy and not have to worry about hospitals and surgeries, etc..

Looking at the counts, you can see that we are just three days away now from the major milestone of 100 DAYS TO THE BERS. And starting tomorrow, we enter SINGLE DIGITS on our way to Halfoween.

I hope everyone has a great day! Spooky Spring continues tonight with "The Green Mile", which might be considered a "Halloween Dud", but it comes on TV every October, and I enjoy watching it. It gets to only 50 degrees today so we have another day that will feel like October. Stay well, friends!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The horrors of Monday are behind us now and it's a new day as we march towards another weekend, which is obviously the goal of any week, especially another great week of Spooky Spring.

You can see that the Halfoween count is now down in SINGLE DIGITS. Let that sink in for a moment. We are still gearing up for the big milestone on Thursday, which will be 100 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON. I know that the numbers never lie, but it has really caught me off guard this year to think that we are that close. We will see that milestone on Thursday, and on Saturday, which is also Rudolph Day for this month, we will see 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON. I think when we get on the Eve of that milestone, we will take a poll / vote.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last it's Wednesday. And we're obviously on the doorstep now to a MAJOR milestone, that being 100 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON. And save a little excitement for Saturday when we hit 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON.

I didn't get a chance to go back to Hobby Lobby last weekend, but since I'm off work early on Friday, I plan on swinging by there. I think it would be pretty exciting to see some more Fall stuff at that point since we would be under 100 days to Fall Preseason and on the verge of another milestone!

I'm settling in for "The Mummy (1999)" tonight, as Spooky Spring continues! Have a great day!

I went to Hobby Lobby tonight, and there was a little more Fall stuff out. But no Christmas yet. I also noticed that all the plastic bins on top of the shelves that used to be filled with summer and Fourth of July stuff are now empty. So you know what's coming next. Oh, yeah, baby!!!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Milestone Day! It is indeed now just 100 Days to Fall Preseason, a count that doesn't even seem possible (but here it is). Also checking in this morning is just ONE WEEK until Halfoween, and on Saturday we will see 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON.

Today is finally here, our big day - Holly has her surgery consult this morning at 10:45. Even though it's just a consult, we're both nervous. I'll be glad when this is over and we can get "back to normal". I hope that they quickly move to schedule her surgery, hopefully soon / early so that we can have our whole summer ahead of us and not have to worry about anything.

I’m going to be honest — I’ve done a lousy job of celebrating Spooky Spring this month. I didn’t do any spooky-adjacent stuff while I was on vacation, so yesterday I made up for it by listening to the soundtrack for Walt Disney World’s “Boo to You” parade on repeat while I was working. And speaking of work, it really has got me in a rut.

But this milestone today brings a smile to my face. This is a huge one! 100 days to Fall Preseason means we’ll be seeing Halloween and Fall merch even before that, probably right after July 4th, so this was a boost that I’d needed. We are getting so much closer to “home” now!

Once again, Happy Milestone Eve! You can see from the counts above that TOMORROW we will indeed reach 150 Days to Halloween Season. And it sure is good to see the FALL PRESEASON count checking in at under 100 days now!

Folks - about a week or so ago I mentioned that we would be having a poll today, something we hardly ever do for the very reason that I don't want Edge to feel like I am "copying" his thread.

Most of us in this thread, myself included, refer to Halloween Season, which begins on September 22nd, 2026, this year, as SPOOKY SEASON. Should we rename it on the counts above?

A) - I think it should be renamed "Spooky Season"
B) - We should leave it as its technical name of "Halloween Season"
C) - I don't visit this thread enough to care, I don't like Halloween.
