I hear that. There's a happy medium. I tend to err too much on the "life's short, eat a bucket of Halloween candy" side. It may be shorter if I keep this up!!!!

About 4-5 Halloweens ago my local CVS had so much leftover candy from Halloween...it was insane. They put it all at 90% off. $4 bags of candy cost 40 cents. Needless to say I bought some.
I really didn't go crazy eating 100 candies but I did eat some pizza, candy, a piece of cake...but heck it's Halloween. Like you said we'll do about the same next yearUnlike some of y'all, I don't feel guilty about the raging candy bender I went on this weekend! I own it.
I thoroughly plan on doing the same next year!

Yeah I had Halloween candy for the next year lol...had to give it away some. Think I spent like $10 in candy which obviously means normally it'd cost $100 so I gave some away to kids and people I know.

I can personally attest that this is true.
I remember when I was a kid my siblings and I would come home with our bags and dump it all into one pile. My mom would separate it based on chocolate and non-chocolate into tins or bowls. Ahh well it's sad Halloween weekend is ending...but we all will keep this thread going till Halloween 2016 .

Here too! I think the stores here are getting smart and discounting much later after everyone has bought as well putting stuff away to bring back out next year!!

Good Monday Morning Halloween fans. I've decided to start a little "thing" here that each Monday I would post a "weekly count" (if Ryan is ok with that) besides whatever milestones/days he wants to post since he's the king of this thread. I'm simply the court jester? But since Halloween is on a Monday I have decided to each Monday post the weekly count along with some Halloween topics, questions, polls etc. we can discuss throughout the week. So here's my weekly Monday count beginning:
Weeks till Halloween: 52
Ahh yes a full 52 weeks aka a year basically until we reach that special, special day again. It's a fresh count though so that's a positive right there. We're in the 50s and a long, long, long way to go but it's gonna be a fun ride.
Halloween topics for the week:
HOW WAS YOUR HALLOWEEN 2015? DID YOU FIND ANY HALLOWEEN SHOWS YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE THAT YOU ENJOYED WATCHING? DID YOU GET ANY TRICK OR TREATERS? WHAT TYPE OF CANDY DID YOU GET? HOW MUCH CANDY DID YOU EAT? HOW MUCH IS LEFTOVER?
I'll be posting my answers to those questions later today/throughout the week. Feel free to at any point all the way through Sunday and then next Monday I will post some new topics along with the weekly count. Of course, post whatever the heck you want in this thread all week too because I just really hope to see this thread keep going strong all year.
