I hear ya Charlie Brown...
.Now that Halloween 2015 is in the books and we look forward to Halloween 2016, how was everyone's Halloween for this year? I have to say if we had even 50 kids I would be surprised. I fear that one day, door to door trick or treating will disappear. Even at my age, I still get a kick out of seeing trick or treaters. It's almost to the point of why even bother handing out candy. To this day, we have never run out of candy. So tell me what you think.
Dennis it seems like we have less and less trick or treaters every year. Not the same as it was back in the day but with that being said we still had a super fun day. I enjoyed every minute of it!
We actually had more trick-or-treaters this year, but we also saw a lot of vehicles dropping their kids off in our neighborhood.

Hopefully it's not a sign of the times, but I tend to lean that way.
I remember when it was a full day event, and you to go trick-or-treating from the time you got home from school until your parents made you come home !
Now there's time restrictions.
It's such a wonderful tradition, I hope it doesn't become nonexistent!
I agree there's less kids going out but I still see enough around. I also went to the mall and saw kids dressed up. I think that unfortunately in today's world kids are going out less. But I don't think the tradition will stop!

I'm calling this upcoming weekend Halloween Leftovers...gonna still watch some even though I'm already on to the Christmas stuff now!

I do think there are more trick-or-treaters on weekdays. Sounds weird, but when Halloween is on a weekend more places have organized events, plus it competes with football and things like that. I may be wrong but it seems to be true around my beck of the woods.
Good morning. We are looking at 363 days until the next Halloween. Seems like a ways off, but we have Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up. And, with Halloween Season starting September 24th, we only have 326 days until then!
