You're dreaming about the Stros, bro.

QUOTE]

Whatever dreams I had about the Stros has now been shattered by injuries before the season even started. Lost starting SS and catcher. Also, the usual lack of hitting has gone on way to long now to be blamed on pre-season. Finish 3rd because of pitching.

I don't know much about Baseball, but my Mother assures me that the Baltimore Orioles are going to win every game of every division, whether it's their division or not. They will be so marvelous that they will have to compete against themselves in the world series. I told her that sounded good to me.

LOL. Let's see how she feels come June.

Although the past two games were awful, I predict the Tigers will win it all. Should they not contend, would love the Cubs to go all the way.

The White Sox all the way!!!

I bet MerryBell's mum is pretty happy at the moment ;)

She's ecstatic. Everybody she sees, she has to ask them, "How 'bout them O's?". So far, her predictions are good!

And they're still doing ok! Manny, oh dear oh dear oh dear...

Much to my astonishment my fantasy team is 16th of 1173 teams overall this week and #1 in the Phillies division. Like the Phillies I've got one heck of a rotation (Halliday, Pineda, Volquez, Derek Hollands and Clayton Kershaw)!

Just Manny being Manny.

Thats pretty cool being ranked that high.

Hey, it's April. I've got Volquez too, by the way. He'd be awesome if it weren't for his first inning woes. I hope Dusty doesn't manage him to the DL as he does many pitchers.

My league is a NL only league. I've got a starting pitching staff of Cain, Oswalt, Lowe, Sanchez, and Volquez. I feel pretty good about that. Just wish I had some offense to back it up.

Dang it cant believe I missed this thread.
The Sox, Phils, Rangers and stupid Yanks look ready to take it to the playoffs.
Im a big Sox fan and enjoying the year. When they make the World series not looking forward to seeing the Phillies staff.

What? No rooting for anyone out west, DoubleA? The first month of the season not too many believed in the Sox.

I'm not an AL guy. And I still think the Giants/Phillies are going to have a showdown in the NL. But I could never in my right mind support an AL team in the series. I know, it happens. But to me the designated hitter is a stain on our national history. I still protest on that principle.

Jeff, I cant stand the Dodgers so I was excited your team has been taking care of them as well as the D'Backs. So glad when we do not have to hear about the McCourts again.
The Angels are pretty good thats my dad's fav. team so I cheer for them when we head to the games together.

The Sox were scary at Seasons start, did not gel right, still waiting for Crawford to get adjusted and wished they would have picked up a more reliable starter at the deadline of Bucholz is out for the Season.

Sad to see the Pirates fizzle out it was nice to see them up there.

I am not a huge baseball fan, but I do follow it. I am an AL guy, but I do agree with you about the DH. I wish they would do without it.
