Actually, how Jar-Jar keeps avoiding death is unbelievable to me.

I'm not really that surprised by Carly. I believe, for as nice as she comes across, she's got an image problem. And to sing Jesus Christ Superstar with a tatoo to an audience who doesn't understand it did not help her.

I think she's got a big future. I just don't know what genre she will go to. Rock, I guess. She should think about doing a bluesy duet piece with Wynonna Judd -- they'd be dynamite together.

Hey -- has anyone been following Vote for the Worst this year? I wonder who they are championing and whether or not that has had any bearing on this.

It's funny you mention that Jeff! I was thinking the same thing last night! Other years, I remember people making a big deal out of the whole "vote for the worst" thing...This year I don't hear or read a thing...I wonder if they are stilll at it...

I think alot of Jason Castro's fan base are the young teen girls who think he's cute...And he's not bad, he's got alot of stage presence and can carry a tune...And as far as Brooke goes, she is very accessable...Very reachable. Like you know who she is by seeingg her and listening to her...And she seems inherently a good person too...She can sing as well...I think no matter who left early up until now, we still would have seen the two Davids duking it out in the final...I think in terms of pure vocal ability, Archuleta is clearly the winner, but for the full package and for entertainment value, Cook takes the cake...We'll see...

I think Cook's originality, artistry and maturity give him the edge over Archuleta. I love little David, just think he's Donny Osmond re-born (not that there's anything wrong with that). David C is just more interesting and compelling.

Jason Castro is a zero talent.
