we had a 'net outage here last night but i was so keen to get on this morning and see what yall had said last night regarding that colossal fiasco and here i am and nobody has said a word. stunned i am!!!
cant wait to see if AI says anything about paula or offers some kind of THE THINGS NOT RIGGED WE SWEAR statement.
imo, sayesha and david a were the worst last night.
sweet caroline should have had the audience singing along (especially as all he did was sing the chorus over and over and over ....
jason should tell them all to go you-know-what! i am guessing he got the sympathy vote last night and is safe again. i thought he was fine.
david c. well... as you know i want to marry him and bear his children.
and brooke was fine. not great but fine.

Well...If in fact this is a singing competition, Jar-Jar's toast...He's not bad! I don't think he's as bad as the rest of you seem too but he was the worst last night...The David's ruled the evening, setting a bar that was unattainable by the balance of the performers. Syesha, while technically a good singer and a beautiful young lady, does not connect with the audience the way the less technically good but equally as beautiful Brooke does. Brooke is warm and nice and straight forward, and probably a complete wacko at home which is why I find myself oddly attracted to her...Sorry...The show itself was a little weird with them jamming ten songs into an hour and Paula busy circling the studio, high as a kite...What is with her...All they needed was David Bowie singing "Ground Control to Major Tom..." Is it just me or when she talks do you very vaguely here the theme from "The Twilight Zone" playing in the background...
I'm in LA (actually just a few miles from the AI stage) but I did see it last night. Here's my brief review:
Jar-Jar: Dismal and he's checked out of it entirely. Looks are the only thing keeping him in and that may be drying up fast. He could (should) be gone.
Brooke: Living proof that only Neil Diamond should sing Neil Diamond music. I am I Said was interesting at least from her. I actually liked her better this week than the past few weeks which could be proof positive that she's history.
David A: Sweet Caroline should have had the audience singing along, I agree with Elfie. But America was brilliant He's safe.
David C: Still the standard, the man to beat. Didn't sound like he was singing Diamond although he has the most Diamondesque voice left in the competition.
Syesha: What can you say? She loves singing to herself, no matter what the song. She should have sung "Hello Again" in front of a mirror. The humor might have helped.
Don't think I'll get to see the results tonight as I'll be at LAX. Will try and will try to log on so that you can tell me what happens.

I dunno...I like Brooke but more because of her outgoing personality and talks off the cuff.She's so relaxed. She's a great singer as well.Lol.. Little David is cute and is awesome. Not intune with any of the others. I don't like dredlocks so much.

Yep it is a bummer...hated to see Brooke go. At this point, I really don't care who wins.
Jar-jar wasn't even in the bottom two? What a travesty. If he outlasts Syesha you know this thing is either rigged or so totally controlled by teenie vote cramming as to make it ridiculous.

It's the teenie vote...I mean Jar-Jar won't win this thing but neither would Brooke or Syesha...At this point it's just the order that they leave that is in question, not whether they will or not...Jar-Jar is not terrible...He's got some kind of a Julio Iglesias thing going on with his singing style and he's a good looking kid...Girls seem to love him...He was on some reality show because he was the boyfriend of some singer named Cheyenne...He'll have some sort of career...But he does seem like such a stoner. I like the guy, just not nearly as much as the Davids...Last year my choice to win was Melinda Doolittle and she left earlier than I thought she should...But she was incredible...We've all known that it was going to come down to which flavor of David you like...And we are just two weeks away from that...

I had to post this...My brother and I were talking about AI this morning and he said, "He's really good and got a great voice, but all that David Archuleta kid needs is the hat with ears and he can be the new star of the Mickey Mouse Club"...I thought that was pretty funny...And true!!!
