What the H-E- double hockey stick did they do to that great Steven Tyler song??? The guitar and violins sounded like a train wreck...I know everyone loves Mr. Cook...But that was simply a mess...He'll go to next week...But man...Syesha has real talent but I can't stand her...So...David -vs- David it shall be...At least that's my guess...I hate to say it but Ryan is starting to grate on me a bit too...Maybe I just had a bad day...Time for bed...
I think the sooner Larry King can kick off the sooner we can get rid of Ryan on AI...
Now, AI tonight --
Wanna know why ratings are in the tank for AI? SONG CHOICE. Tonight was HORRIBLE for all three, I don't care who picked the songs, they blew it.
Archuleta nailed Billy Joel and I mean he nailed it. Purity in the purest sense of purity. That acapella opening and staying right on pitch for the 2nd verse -- man, what talent. But that was it. You could have the rest of the night from David A. Dan Fogelburp? Puhleesse. The producers picked that? Sheesh, talk about a yawner.
Syesha...if she didn't punch her ticket home tonight the voting is rigged as rigged gets. On that last song she didn't even TRY to pretend that she was into it. Not even an ounce. She made up for the stuff I'm about to say about David C. because....
David C really SUCKED tonight. Yeah, that's an objective opinion. I've got a really high opinion of the dude and tonight he was stone, cold deaf. He was ALL OVER the place with his pitch and he made my blood curdle a couple of times. Really, really disappointing. I can't wait for him to put AI and this sillyness behind him because, like Daughtry, I think he's going to be amazing on his own.
I'm sticking with the D & D finale as we predicted way back when. But I got to say, this season overall has been a yawner. Very disappointing show tonight.
