A moment of silence, please, for Dr. Norman Gentle -- the only true talent of this week.

What a lame week. I know the women love Adam Lambert but I'm growing to dislike him. He does have range, except in his material. What is this showboater going to do come country night? He's still "acting" up there, not unlike Norman Gentle. Just easier on the eyes, which really matters in this thing...after all, it's television.

Would that explain Kris, the surprise guy pick from last night? Did anyone see that coming?

I think it shows how underwhelmed people were this week.

Sad to say, but it looks like guys this year are headlining again with the early money on a Gokey-Lambert showdown in the end.

The tatooed girl who did the little Bohemian dance won me over. We thought she just didn't look cookie cutter like so many of the others did.

I'm just glad Tatiana is gone. I couldn't believe what a spectacle she made out of herself. I felt bad for poor Meghan (tatoo girl), she was more intent on consoling Tatiana than enjoying her success. I can't believe they even gave her a chance in the wild card.

I'm still voting for Danny all the way.

The wild card round was very disappointing. I keep asking myself what is wrong with AI and I think I understand now: it's the judges. They keep bringing back the same losers.

How in the world is Jasmine still around? They keep saying how "commercial" she is but they seem to be the only ones who keep bringing her back.

The whole reason they brought Tatiana back was for the television. The poor thing didn't belong there but instead of bringing Norman Gentle back for another laugh they had to bring in her. Yuck.

I'm ok with the Anoop thing but the Meagan Corkey-Tatoo girl (from right here in Sandy, Utah, no less!) is a joke. They needed their token blonde and resident weirdo. They keep saying she's interesting but for the life of me I don't see or hear anything interesting about her.

I'm not sure how much longer here I'm going to last...

I have not watched any of the episodes since the auditions. Ever since the Sanjaya crap I've been losing interest. I may check in once in a while to see what's up but, I probably won't be watching it like I used to.

I've enjoyed it mostly because my little girls love it and are so entertaining to watch it with. In fact, last week we did a little bit of Idol watching by phone, me in LA while they were at home in Utah. Of course, Idol was over for them while I was watching it but the girls were giving me the play by play over the phone of what was going to happen next. For that reason, I likely won't give it up.

But honestly I'm starting to feel like Idol has run its course and has seen better days...

I'm not sure I liked they way they came up with the final 12...okay, 13....but at least we're there. I hope they show some good stuff. They need to, that's for sure.

More than anything, I'm glad Tatiana is gone, gone, gone. :razz:

I still like the show because I love the concept of it. What an opportunity for someone who wants to make it in show business.
Yes, there was some awful moments but hey I've watched award shows where they had singers and they were horrible, so I guess it happens. LOL, I can turn on the radio and hear some awful singing while others rave about the person or group.

I'm glad the cryer and the whiner did not make it. I think the girl needs some help. So sad for she does have a decent singing voice, what a waste.

I do think the winner should be chosen by the judges, not the public for the public consist of young girls and boys who are very "visual" and don't even care about the talent.
