I will NEVER see any of those Saw movies. Same goes with Hostel and the hills have eyes....No Way!

I am not a fan of these type movies, however I actually liked the Saw movies. The other 2 movies you mentioned both are terrible.

The Amityville Horror is by far the scariest I have ever seen...but I was way too young to be watching it when I did, & I wouldn't sleep upstairs in my bed for what seemed like a year!! And then when I finally did start going back upstairs, every night before I would go to bed, I would peak out the blinds to make sure there were no eyes looking in at me & then I would pull the blinds shut super fast & fly into bed & cover up!!! Lol!!! :lol: Now...that has been a FEW (uh hum) years ago...I wonder if I would find it to be scary today....

The neighbors were telling me about Psycho the other weekend. They were saying that is so scary. I have never seen it before??

The Scariest movie I swa as a kid was the Spiral staircase in Black and white, I do not remember much other than it scared me. Then when I wasin my 20's my oldest was about 5 and he loved scary movies, again it was a black and white called the Hand. OH MY GOSH!! This was really scary!!
He stll remembers it.

There's nothing scary about blood and gore (Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc.) they're just gratuitously violent and gross. Scary is when it messes with your head!

There's also nothing like a good old ghost story. One of my favourites was actually on last night (you probably missed itcheesy)

The Others. Really good story with a twist you never see coming

The Exorcist, hands down. While many other horror flicks I can view as "ah, that's fake"...that one is too close to spiritual warefare in correlation to my faith.

When I was a youngster "IT" scared me for a looong time. The exorcist ranks up there now, I got a scare the 1st time I watched the Blair Witch and it was very late.
