Countdown to Thanksgiving 2019: 316 DAYS
Happy Middle Day of January! And in this thread? Happy Stone Cold Steve Austin Day! I know CW will appreciate that reference. If you're a wrestling fan (or were in the 1990s) then you'd get that reference. 316 days is where our countdown to Thanksgiving stands on this Middle Day of January. 15 days behind us, 15 ahead with today being the middle one of January. Not a bad start to the year I hope for all of you half a month through. Just enjoying each day as much as I can and being "thankful" for it. And we know here that this week is special but in 2 weeks from now it will be even more-so as the countdown to Thanksgiving will undergo a big change. Stay tuned here for that. And for now, stay tuned to thoughts of that cranberry sauce piled in your Thanksgiving plate. Yum. Have a great Middle Day of January cause Stone Cold said so!

Countdown to Thanksgiving 2019: 315 DAYS
Happy 2nd Half of January! And also Happy Thursday! You know Thursday's in this thread are the most special day of the week. Because it gives us a double countdown day. We have 315 solid days till Thanksgiving but with today being a Thursday we also can say we have 45 weeks till Thanksgiving! That means that Thanksgiving day was 8 weeks ago today! That's a big chunk we've taken out of the countdown! That's a great big start. And in 11 days we reach a big week where we'll have not 1 but 2 significant days in the count. Stay tuned for that you turkey & gravy lovers. Hmmm I wonder if turkey is an acceptable breakfast. It's something I'd consider. Have a great day Thanksgiving Thread Fans!

Happy MLK TGIF! A holiday weekend for some people we are now into Friday here on the 18th of January. Look at us moving along nicely and slowly yet surely. And our countdown this morning to Thanksgiving 2019 is at a pretty cool 314 days. Looks like 2 weeks from today we hit a MAJOR day, February 1 and also the 300 day marker. To me, in terms of Thanksgiving and the Countdown, the "300s" are the "Doldrums". Once we get past that and into February and the 2s we'll start to smile at the progress we made. Smiling just like we do at the table on Thanksgiving with the feast in front of us. Have a great TGIF and stay safe going into this wintry weekend!

I am making Turkey Buffalo Dip for tonite. Scored a turkey breast at the "better" grocery store yesterday. Hoping its as good as the Chicken Dip.

Oh yeah we try to do a different type of recipe in the Off-Season. I just love turkey though. I feel like Homer Simpson when I think of turkey.

Good Championship Sunday! If you are an NFL fan, today is a big day. We will find out who goes to the Superbowl today! I love it. And it's also MLK Eve! We're already into the "20s" of January now. That happened rather quickly if you ask me. A slushy morning here as I report the Countdown at 312 day. Not so bad huh? I agree. And it's only getting better from here. We want turkey! *Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap* Well with that turkey chat in your head as you're watching the fans chant different things at the 2 big games today I hope you recognize that our countdown here goes all year long. We have tried quite a few over the years, it seems that alot of them I have tried either dont make a good gravy or wont allow for stuffing in the turkey. I have tried some VERY good recipes but I guess maybe they end up being a "off season" recipe and not so much a traditional style.
It ended up being better than chicken. No bleu cheese went into it or celery.
We are Pats fans too!
