Happy 2nd Half of October! Yeah we're into the last 2 weeks before Halloween now folks. And once Halloween comes you know what happens here. 42 days remain until Thanksgiving. That's 6 weeks from today folks. We started at 53 and we're down to 6 lol. How? I don't know but it's real. And we are 15 days from November. As I said 2 weeks from today is HALLOWEEN. I'm looking forward to it. Big Halloween fan here as many of you know. And it just seems like November is right around the corner. Turkeys will be everywhere. I'm sure they are gearing up big time for the Macy's Parade on Thanksgiving. The NFL Football slate is also being looked at more and more. I think for the 2020 Thanksgiving Count maybe we'll do some kind of weekly poll here. We'll see. Try to spice it up. But I hope you've enjoyed the ride and enjoy the next 6 weeks here. Happy Fearful Friday! 41 days remain till Thanksgiving. 14 days remain till November. 2 weeks from today is November. Oh man. THE month. No offense to the other 11 but that probably overall is the best month of the year. It's got leftover Halloween stuff, the Thanksgiving build, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, the whole Thanksgiving Week and the start of the Christmas Season. What month can come close to November? I don't think one can. I have to say it has everything. That's why we count down to it and when we get there we'll enjoy all 30 days of it. It's amazing. Now today is Friday so I know all of you are thinking about the weekend. It's a good thing. An October weekend. We have 2 more of them to go so we need to enjoy them. Have a great Fearful Friday!​

Happy Autumnal Weekend! 40 days remain till Thanksgiving. 40. From 370 down to 40 now. 13 days are left until November arrives. That's less than 2 weeks. In 9 days we'll reach our 11th (and final before Thanksgiving) 28th. Enough said? I think so. Grab a nice coffee and a treat for breakfast. It's Saturday after all. Enjoy it. These are the mornings we wait all week for just like we wait for Thanksgiving morning all year long. And that's what we do here. That may be the most special morning of the year (or right up there with Christmas Morning). And we're closer to it then we all really realize right now. It's a great thing just like watching the football games on Thanksgiving and having turkey with family. What beats that on November 28th? Not much. Have a great start to your Autumnal Weekend!​

Happy Halloween Home Stretch! We are into the 20th now of October. The final stretch towards Halloween before we reach the month we wait for here. 39 days are left until Thanksgiving. 12 days left until November. Boy oh boy those numbers are dwindling. Think about this. This coming week is the LAST week in our count before we reach November. That's it. After that the week after (on a Friday) is November 1 and we're into the month of Thanksgiving. Not much left to count except the best days that are left as we build towards it. A decent day here but not as sunny as Saturday was. Still it's the weekend. And we all need to enjoy it. Looks like it should be a decent weather week ahead as well. I hope you're all doing well with turkey spirit this Sunday morning. Have a great Halloween Home Stretch!​

Happy Week Before Halloween! Oh yeah it's the last week before we reach the week of Halloween and also November believe it or not. That's part of our dual countdown here too. Let's take a look to start the week. The Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 38 days. Nice start to the week. The Countdown to November is down to 11 days now. Yikes that's too low if you ask me. Only 11. We're getting so close now. I can't believe. But hey that's the time of year we are in here in late October. And it feels great doesn't it? I couldn't have imagined this last year in late November when we started this thread and countdown. But here we are now. Let's enjoy the glow of this time of year. It's the best feeling in the world. Well almost the best (next to eating Thanksgiving Dinner). Have a great Week Before Halloween!​

Happy Halloween Build! Less than 240 hours from now folks we will be celebrating Halloween and that will lead us to...THIS: The Countdown to November is at 10 days. The Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 37 days. I flipped them for today to show you HOW CLOSE we are to November now. GEEEEEEEEEEEZ. It was a dream for so long and now we're almost on the doorstep of November. How the heck is that possible? It is. I mean seriously. And right now as a Halloween fanatic I'm realizing the urgency of enjoying the build to Halloween. I've got my Halloween Trail this weekend and lots of Halloween shows before/after it this week and next. I'm going to focus all of my energy on it but I can't help but have in the back of my mind what comes after that. Unreal. I love Thanksgiving so much as I know all of you do. Happy Late October! As CW stated yesterday we're getting so close now to November and Thanksgiving we can almost smell the turkey. And let me tell you the smell of turkey cooking on Thanksgiving is the best smell of the entire year. How long do we and our noses have to wait to smell that again? I'm glad you asked. We have 36 days remaining till Thanksgiving (I guess you'd need a pretty long nose to smell it from here still). And we have 9 days till November. NINE. WOW. Single Digits days until November. Halloween is 1 week from tomorrow. This is all getting so unreal and yet so real at the same time. I am happy where we are now in late October. No need to go backwards. We've come so far together here in this thread and have the best month + to go till Thanksgiving Day which culminates our countdowns. Have a great Late October Pines Day!​

Happy 1 Week Till Halloween! That scary enough of an opening for you here in late October? It is for me. We've finalized our plans for Halloween and they involve pizza. We had that last year too. It just fits. Know something funny though? Our Thanksgiving 2019 plans were finalized...on Thanksgiving 2018 lol. Because it's a total tradition to have turkey, stuffing, all the sides etc. How long until that magical meal? Let's look at our countdowns this Thursday morning. We have 35 days until Thanksgiving. That translates to 5 weeks. We have 8 days until November. That's just over 1 week. We're basically down to almost days now instead of weeks. 53 weeks all the way down to the "final five." Unreal huh? Amazing is what I think it is. Have a great 1 Week Till Halloween Friday Eve!​

Happy Halloween TGIF! Well look at our counts this morning. 34 days until Thanksgiving. 7 days until November. 1 week from today. 1. That's it. The last week of October starts today and then we head into November. And isn't that amazing? I think it is and I know you do as well. Thanks to CW for those pics. Those really motivate me to increase my dreams of Thanksgiving over the next month +. That's what it's all about. But first we have 1 more weekend of October to get to before we drive towards November. Before that on Monday we also have our 11th 28th which is the last one before Thanksgiving. Not much left to say. It's been a heck of a ride. And we've got the best part of the ride starting next week when we reach November. That'll be extra reason to celebrate a Friday. Happy Halloweekend! It's Halloween Weekend folks! Yes it is. I don't know how but it's here. We have 33 days until Thanksgiving. We have 6 days until November. That's all we have left. Friday we reach November. And of course Monday we have our 11th "28th" of the year. This is the FINAL one before Thanksgiving. I wish that I could express the joyous feeling I have inside of me building. It happens every October and it culminates during Halloweekend. And then it just takes off from here right through Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don't know how but we're already here. And it's such a wonderful feeling. When I started this count I never thought we'd make it from 370 days down to 33. It's a wonderful feeling and only gets better from here on out. Have a great Halloweekend!​

Happy Halloween Trail! This is the day I wait for a long time when I go on my Halloween Trail. This is my 3rd year in a row going. Each of the last 2 years everything "hit me" when I was there. What do I mean? Something like this. 32 days remain till Thanksgiving. 5 days are left until November. That's what I mean. How close we are to the holiday seasons. And it really makes me excited for Halloween Week. That's what the trail does. And I hope it does it again tonight. I start dreaming about turkeys ahead and Christmas lights. It's just a fun thing I do now and I hope to get lost in my thoughts at the trail and let myself really smile at where we are here in late October. This is when the fun really begins. I can't wait. Happy Halloween Week! Happy 28th #11! This is the FINAL 28th before Thanksgiving folks. 11 down and 1 magical 1 to go which will lead us into the biggest day of the year. Amazing huh? Speaking of amazing I had so much fun on my Halloween Trail last evening. It was a lot of fun. I wish it was just a little longer and there were a lot less people (due to rain I think). It made it just a little less festive although I didn't want it to be as crowded as it was last year. But it was still a heck of a lot of fun. Oh our counts. 31 days are left until Thanksgiving which means 1 month from tomorrow! And we have 4 days left until November (which happens on FRIDAY). Unreal huh? Just amazing this week we will reach NOVEMBER the month we wait all year for here. Have a Happy Halloween Week!​

Happy Halloween Eve Eve! Home stretch is an interesting term used. Well today I think we can officially say we're in the home stretch. 30 days remain till Thanksgiving which is what most of us consider 1 full month left. 11 down and 1 to go is how we say it. 3 days until November. Umm 3. Well I guess October is running low on days then. That's ok. I've loved October. I came up with a saying for the 4 Bers months this year to describe what they are to me. September = Sweet Spot, October = My Favorite Month of the Year, November = Best Month of the Year, December = Most Special Month of the Year. That sums up how I feel about them. How do I feel about turkey, stuffing, biscuits, gravy, and more? YUM! That's how I feel. Have a great Halloween Eve Eve!​

Happy Halloween Eve! Unbelievable that tomorrow is Halloween. That's amazing but let's look at what else is amazing. We have 29 days until Thanksgiving. That's under 1 month folks. And we have 2 days until November. That count has only 1 day to go after today before that count DISAPPEARS until Black Friday. Talk about amazing and crazy. That's what those counts are now. But I'm enjoying the final days of October. This is a month that I wish we could never leave but if we didn't then we'd never reach November and Thanksgiving. And we all know we want to make it there right? That's what I think at least. That's the reason we're all here is to eventually make it together back to the best month of the year: November and the best day of the year: Thanksgiving. Now I hope you all are enjoying the Eve of Halloween. Have a Happy Halloween Eve!​
