Happy August Agony! Yeah it's a hot and humid week here for sure. But that's ok. I love August. Why? It's the last month before The Bers begin. And look at how close we are to it and other counts: 107 days till Thanksgiving, 82 days till November and 21 days till The Bers. 1 week from today is our next milestone as we reach the 100 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. That will be the FINAL triple digit day of any count in this thread EVER. Think about that. And you can see that 3 weeks from today is September 1 and The Bers will begin. Am I the only one who doesn't feel ready yet? At least we have 3 more weeks to prepare for it. It's going to be a fun 2020 Bers I hope. Let's all make it that way. Have a great August Agony!

Happy Dozen Days of August! I see some of you are saying you're ready for The Bers. Count me in on that. It's very humid out today. It's been a hot and humid summer. But you know what? To me still it seems like summer goes faster than the other times of the year. I'm not sure why that is. Oh but let's get to our 3 counts: 106 days till Thanksgiving, 81 days till November and 20 days till The Bers. Oh yeah 6 days from now our next milestone will arrive as we reach the 100 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. How does that sound? And The Bers count is getting scary folks. 20 days remain. I see a lot of signs of it in the stores now. It won't be long and we'll be celebrating the arrival of it. Have a great Dozen Days of August!

Happy August Teens! It's Thursday folks. It's OUR day of the week. Let's get right to it. We have 105 days till Thanksgiving (which translates our weekly count to 15 weeks). We have 80 days till November. And we have 19 days till The Bers. In 5 days we'll reach the 100 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. That's the final triple digits day count of this entire thread. Don't think I forgot that toady is a poll day. Here is our bi-weekly Thanksgiving Poll:

I think its a combo of C&D. Sept 1st has always been a symbol to me as the start of fall/new season even though it is technically still summer. I start to get excited for the holidays.
As soon as the displays hit the stores or pumpkins show up or maybe its Halloween stuff!
Definitely C for me.

Let's look at them: 103 days till Thanksgiving, 78 days till November and 17 days till The Bers. In 3 days we'll reach the big 100 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. That will be our final triple digits countdown here...EVER! Rich mentioned Wednesday we will see all counts in double digits. How special will that be? We've come so far together and are really almost on the doorstep of being right where The Bers begin. They make the BEST caramel apples. And when I start making caramel apples then I really feel like fall is here.
