COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 331 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 306 DAYS

Happy New Years Eve! It's the final day of 2019. For the LAST time I will specify this in our countdown. The Countdown to Thanksgiving "2020" is at 331 days. The Countdown to November "2020" is at 306 days. After today I won't mention that again because why should I? We won't be talking about NEXT year's Thanksgiving/November. We'll be talking about THIS year's. Oh and this is also the last time we'll have only 2 countdowns here until...September 1 when the Bers begin and we don't need to countdown to it anymore. Sound awesome? I hope that puts you in a festive mood for New Years Eve. Any new years resolutions? Let me know if you have any. I've got a few. I learned a lot this year and came a long way so I'm looking forward to taking that with me into the new year. I also look forward to thinking about Thanksgiving every day. TURKEY! Have a great New Years Eve!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 330 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 305 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 244 DAYS

Happy New Year! And boy is it a happy new year here in the Thanksgiving Countdown Thread. Why? Look above. We now have 3 countdowns. The next time we won't have 3 is when we reach the Bers on September 1. Let's look at our brand new triple count as we welcome in 2020. We have 330 days until Thanksgiving. We have 305 days until November. And last but certainly not least we have 244 days until The Bers. Only 244. WOW. That countdown seems much more doable doesn't it? Yes, that's why I added it and also because we all know once we make it to the Bers we're "good" if you know what I mean. We made it to the time of year we love the most by far. Well our 8 month journey back to the Bers begins today. And I hope it will be a fun and great journey for all of us. No longer do we need to say "NEXT" for anything (as in NEXT year). It's all THIS year now. Have a Happy New Year!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 329 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 304 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 243 DAYS

Happy Day 2 of 2020! Back to work? Back to Countdowns! We have 329 days until Thanksgiving. FYI with today being a THURSDAY that would translate to 47 weeks. Not a bad drop from when we were recently in the 50s huh? We have 304 days until November...just 4 days to go till the big 300. And we have 243 days until the Bers. Now that number looks much better as it's closer to 200 than 300 (already!). That's a big plus. And that # will be the one that keeps our spirits higher earlier this year than last year. All 3 countdowns are settling in here in early January. Lots of Christmas lights out there to keep us occupied. And yes I did notice several big turkeys in the store yesterday when I went in to it. And I thought to myself how awesome it was last Autumn when I was in there looking at them dreaming of Thanksgiving which was approaching soon. Great times behind us and great times ahead of us. Oh of course it's Thursday and since CW did his thing last Thursday today is my turn with our 2nd poll of the countdown. Last time I asked you where you would rank Thanksgiving in terms of favorite days of the year. Today? I'm asking you this poll:
How many people do you have over on Thanksgiving?
My answer is that we have 7 of us. It's more of a tighter smaller group than Christmas Eve/Day. How about you?

Have a great Day 2 of 2020!

We have 0 over for Thanksgiving as we are usually the ones GOING over to a relatives house for Thanksgiving. This year there were about 35 of us in one small house. We had a wonderful time.

31, if everyone attends, but as the third generation marches into their 20s, and others are starting to struggle with stairs, we have moved our gathering to a local hall. It certainly isn't as homey, but having all of the space, the extra ovens, and the ability to pull cars up under an awning right next to a door has made things easier.

Thanksgiving is usually just the 3 of us.
