COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 209 DAYS

COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 123 DAYS
Happy Made it to May! We're in to the biggest month we'll have in this thread (other than November so I guess that makes it the 2nd biggest). A new month which is a milestone for us. Happy May Everyone. We have 209 days till Thanksgiving. We have 184 days till November. We have 123 days till the Bers. 3 sweet counts moving downward. Saturday we will reach another milestone as we reach the Halfway to November marker. Just crazy isn't it? That's how this month of November is going to be though. Look at that Thanksgiving count as a heads up as to what's to come. Only 9 days remain until the final 200 marker of this countdown and thread. Scary to think we'll all be into the 1s and lower from here on out after that point. A damp and dreary day but the promise of a nice weather weekend. We need it and deserve it. Happy Early May Weekend! It's a beautiful Saturday morning here. And these 3 counts are beautiful as well. They are: 208 days till Thanksgiving, 183 days till November, and 122 days till the Bers. 3 beautiful counts. And today is a MILESTONE DAY. Which one? We are Halfway to November! Yes 50% of the way to that magical month of November and what I consider the best overall month of the year. And many of us in this thread know why with Thanksgiving happening in it. 183 days down and 183 days to go. How's that possible? Anything is possible with the Thanksgiving Countdown Thread. That's why we count it all year long to make sure we keep our eyes on all 3 of the prizes listed above. No turkey this weekend for me but in this month I will have turkey to celebrate being Halfway to November and to Thanksgiving. Looking forward to a great Saturday though today with the weather and being outside. Have a great Early May Weekend!

Happy 1 Week till Mother's Day! We had a beautiful Saturday and Sunday looks similar. Not a bad weekend at all. It's about time too. At least the cooler temps has kept it from getting too hot too early which it does some years. It looks like I'll be home for another 4 weeks most likely. And I plan on actually enjoying it. And I enjoy the following: 207 to Thanksgiving, 182 to November, 121 to the Bers. And our next milestone? It's 1 week from today on Mother's Day when we reach the 200 day marker to Thanksgiving! Something to look forward to all week long don't you think? Look at that Bers count. 3 weeks from today we hit 100. YIKES! I better start making some plans for the Bers. I refuse to let this virus thing ruin my favorite time of year. I got plenty of things I can do that it can't affect. And one of them? Thanksgiving Dinner with family. Nothing beats that. And 3 other pluses are the 3 following countdowns: 206 days till Thanksgiving; 181 days till November; and 120 days till the Bers. That's 3 nice counts moving along here in the month of May with our next milestone straight up at the end of this week(end) on Sunday when we reach the big 200 day marker to Thanksgiving. Just think after this week we will not see anything above a 1s count the rest of the time for this thread. How amazing is that? We were just in the 3s it seemed and now we're already almost out of all the 2s. What happened? Temps today should be in the 60s after a very warm afternoon on Sunday where we hit 79. It felt like borderline a/c weather. But the weather is changing again this week so the chill will return. Have a great May the 4th Be With You!

Happy Cinco De Mayo! It's a beautiful sunny day out there again here. We've had a few of those in a row now. Cooler today but not quite as cool as Thanksgiving Day normally. Speaking of here's our 3 counts for the day: 205 days to Thanksgiving, 180 days to November, and 119 days to the Bers. I just realized that I have to do a poll this week. It's my turn. Fortunately I have 2 more days to think of one still. Our next milestone is on Sunday when we reach the 200 day marker to Thanksgiving. Our biggest count will be ending the 2s. That's a scary thought. What's not a scary thought is stuffing, gravy, turkey, sweet potatoes and biscuits. That is a delicious thought if you ask me. And then of course there's the parade and football which we still have hope there will be on Thanksgiving Day in 2020. That's how it should be some way some how. Have a great Cinco De Mayo!

Yesterday was a cool day because for reasons unknown, AMC was playing a Halloween/Michael Myers marathon. It is very rare to catch those movies on regular TV outside of October / Halloween season. Same thing with Jason / Friday the 13th. You see them on a month that has a Friday the 13th in it, but generally not during a "normal" time of the year.
But either way, it felt awesome to have it in the background. Last night was kind of a cool night too, so the old brain was fooled for a few moments there in actually "feeling" like it was Fall.
And we are supposed to have some more cold nights this week, so who knows, i might "cheat" again and play some scary movies, since i don't have another "Mini Halloween" coming up until the 31st of this month. Have a happy Tuesday!

Happy May Mid-Week! Another middle of the week has come around to us in the Thanksgiving thread. That means a few things but first let's get to the counts. 204 days till Thanksgiving remain. 179 days till November are left. And 118 days to go until the Bers. Sunday we hit our final 200 day marker of this thread. Pretty exciting if you ask me. Since today is Mid-Week it means that tomorrow is THURSDAY woohoo. And that's our day in this thread. I will have a poll for all of you to enjoy tomorrow. I'll try to come up with a good one and one we haven't talked about here yet. Wouldn't it be cool if we could make a huge Thanksgiving feast in this thread to celebrate the Halfway to Thanksgiving marker and just all celebrate together? Not sure if MMC has a cooking/eating feature yet though. Maybe that's an invention to come up with in the future. Have a great May Mid-Week!
