Happy Week Into May MMC! Let's get to the counts because it is a Thursday and we all know that's always the most special day of the week in this thread. We have 203 days till Thanksgiving. That corresponds to 29 weeks folks (we're in the 20s!!!). We have 178 days till November. We have 117 days till the Bers. On Sunday we'll reach the big milestone of hitting the big 200 day marker to Thanksgiving and then it's all 1s from there and below. It's my turn this Thursday so here we go with our bi-weekly poll.
If you couldn't have turkey for Thanksgiving (I know perish the thought) which would you choose as it's replacement?
A.) Ham
B.) Steak
C.) Chicken
D.) Fish
Wow this is a tough one for me because I can't imagine not having turkey on Thanksgiving. I'm not a huge fan of ham. I do love chicken but I have it often. Fish I like but not sure if I would want it on Thanksgiving. I'll go with B steak. Because I rarely have it and it's delicious. But I still would pick turkey over all 4 of those choices of course! Happy Week Into May MMC! Let's get to the counts because it is a Thursday and we all know that's always the most special day of the week in this thread. We have 203 days till Thanksgiving. Happy 2nd TGIF of May MMC! 202 days are left until Thanksgiving. 177 days are left until November. 116 days are left until the Bers. Those are the 3 counts to start off this awesome Friday. Mother's Day Weekend is right in front of us. Exciting stuff. In 2 days (on Sunday) we'll reach the 200 day marker to Thanksgiving. That's going to be really major for us to finally end the 2s. But it will be a special feeling when we hit the 1s on Monday and will not look back to the 2s any longer in this thread. Today just feels like a pizza night to me. The 4th Thursday of November...well that always feels like a turkey day to me but I thank you who voted on yesterday's poll if turkey wasn't an option. Kind of a scary poll! Anyone else who wants to throw in their vote please do so. Now let's all try to focus on Friday. Let's make it a fun weekend ahead everyone. Have a great 2nd TGIF of May!

Today feels like a pizza night to me too, Edge! Enjoy and have a great Friday, thanks again for running this countdown, something about keeping Thanksgiving, as well as Christmas, all year round is just what I need this year!
Rich mentioned in another thread that I do (The Hangout) that he has all these on tape and no matter what he will have the parade on this year even if the one for 2020 is canceled. I have last year's on DVR so the same for me. And I think all of us no matter what should put on an old parade (you can find them online I'm sure on youtube etc.). Nothing can spoil Thanksgiving for us!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend! It's real chilly out there folks. It feels like late winter not mid spring. Ouch. But the sun is out and it's Saturday morning (my favorite morning of the week). The NFL schedules came out and 3 games are scheduled for Thanksgiving. That's how it always goes and this is how the countdown here always goes: 201 days till Thanksgiving; 176 days till November; and 115 days till the Bers. Oh yeah and tomorrow folks we say farewell forever in the 2020 Thanksgiving Countdown Thread to any "2s" count being around here. We hit the big 200 tomorrow to Thanksgiving. That is cause for celebration! That will be such a big step. And then we'll move on to other crazy milestones which we'll mention here tomorrow. Ok I have to remember it's May. It actually feels like Thanksgiving out today with the chill in the air. Have a great Mother's Day Weekend!

Happy May Day! It's another week in May folks. This month brings big milestones as we have mentioned several times. Today's countdowns are as follows: 199 days till Thanksgiving, 174 days till November, and 113 days till the Bers. Notice anything? NO MORE "2s" in the countdown! Goodbye till the 2021 Thanksgiving Thread to the 2s. That's such a great feeling isn't it? Our next milestone will happen in 13 days which will be the 100 day marker to the Bers. And after that as I mentioned we have our 6th "26th" and the Halfway to Thanksgiving markers. Isn't that grand? Isn't that special? Isn't that amazing? We really are heading towards the top of the Thanksgiving Mountain (or should I say turkey). Once we reach the top we'll begin the slide downhill towards Thanksgiving. That's a great feeling indeed. It's been a fun first half so far so let's continue that for the next couple of weeks. Have a great May Day!

Oh yeah it is awesome to see the 100 day window to the 'bers steadily approaching. I wish and wish all year for the 'bers to get here, and then when they DO finally get here, they are gone in a flash. But the wait is worth it. With everything we have been through so far as a country, I am going to try and do my best this year to go above and beyond what i normally do for the Holidays!
