Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 198
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 174
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 113
Happy May Tuesday! We are moving ahead in the month of May which is such a BIG month for us Thanksgiving fans. Let's look at our 3 countdowns to start this Tuesday. We have 198 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 174 days to go until November, and 113 left until The Bers. Our next milestone? Well believe it or not folks it will be the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers which is in 13 days from now. And as mentioned for our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week it will be exactly halfway (26 weeks). Yikes. That might be the biggest day/milestone in this thread of the entire year. At least it feels that way at this point. So I had some aches/pains from my vaccine yesterday but a good nights sleep helped me out. And maybe a dream or 2 of turkey and stuffing did as well? Sometimes I don't remember my dreams so it's certainly possible those were in there when I was sound asleep. Of course, when I'm awake I also dream of those things. And I know all of you do as well. I had minor aches / pains from my second vaccine, which started the morning after, and had resolved by dinner time on the second day. I only took 2 Advils, I believe. I slept all night that night, and woke up the next day and felt completely normal again! Good for you!
Happy to hear you are feeling better, Edge! I was a bit achey and tired after my 2nd one too.
My symptoms after my second shot were similar, I thought maybe I hadn't consumed enough water/liquids the day after because my symptoms didn't flare up until almost 24 hours after the shot, but I think the aches may be unavoidable. Glad neither of you had any worse symptoms and hope the coverage lasts!
Glad to see so many here getting vaccinated. So we can stop wearing masks while we post, right?

Happy Dozen Days Of May! It's another Wednesday as we settle into the middle of the week. And folks we have 3 countdowns to talk about this morning as we normally do. They are the following: 197 days till Thanksgiving, 173 days till November, and 112 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is a huge one and that would be the 100 Day Marker Till The Bers which is in 12 days. You can do that math in your head very easily without being a mathematician. Alright so what else is on tap for today? Maybe some stuffing? How about some biscuits? Or maybe some turkey? I mean we are heading closer to the Halfway point to Thanksgiving. Maybe we should be celebrating somehow with a feast in this thread? We could all gather together and eat. That would be a true virtual Thanksgiving. Might be the last time you can open the oven soon before the summer heat kicks in. Tomorrow folks we will have CW here to post a special video. Looking forward to it. Have a great Dozen Days Of May!

The "Dozen Days of May" takes on a double-meaning for me. A dozen days because, yes, we're 12 days into May already, but also because we have only a dozen days remaining until the 100-day marker to the Bers!

I think that you know from the above numbers but yes in case you aren't sure it is the all important 100 Day Marker Till The Bers (and on that same day we'll reach our Halfway to Thanksgiving Week Monday Countdown). That will indeed be one of the biggest days in this thread. Now if you don't believe it you will when it arrives. And today speaking of arrives our friend CW should be arriving with a video for us all. He always comes up with something great for us on every other Thursday. What would we do without a video or poll on a Thursday? It just wouldn't be the same. That's what we do on Thursdays to acknowledge Thanksgiving which of course always falls on a Thursday.
