Sounds like Pa. will be the next state to get rid of daylight saving time. At one time it sort of had a use but thats been gone for many years.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are in the greenest day of the year folks. It's all about the green. And of course it's also all about the following 3 countdowns: 253 days till Thanksgiving, 229 days till November, and 168 days till The Bers. Those 3 counts are what it's always about here in this thread. Our next 2 milestones happen on Saturday which is in 3 days from now. They will be the 250 Day Marker Till Thanksgiving & Arrival Of Spring! 2 huge milestones on a huge weekend ahead. But for now we all have to enjoy today and get our green on. The grass is getting greener as spring is approaching and we all will keep an eye out for any leprechauns today. Tomorrow we'll keep an eye out for our friend CW who will be here and give us a great Thanksgiving Video to enjoy on his usual Thursday duty. Thanks in advance CW. Have a great St. Patrick's Day!

So here's a little parade tidbit for today. There were a few unused ideas for the 2020 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that got pushed back to this year due to Covid. One of those is a redesign of a popular float.
The NHL is changing up their float this year and scrapping the big, wooden turkey in exchange for a giant snowman goalie (you can see the concept art at the link below). This year the float will be calling "Winning with Winter" and 2021 will mark its debut in the parade.

But first let's get to our three countdowns. We have 252 days till Thanksgiving, 228 days till November, and 167 days till The Bers. Our next two milestones on Saturday not only include the above mentioned Arrival Of Spring but also the 250 Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. That sound good to you? It does to me as well. We'll celebrate in style. But of course we have today to enjoy first. It's Thursday folks. And you know what that means. Our friend CW will be by with some Thanksgiving video(s) to enjoy. Just two days until the big 250 milestone! I can't wait for that magical Thanksgiving week. I just love the feeling of that week...how everything just feels different like you know something special is happening.
Hitting 250 days to Thanksgiving, it's getting "kind of" serious, no? When we hit 200 days i think we are officially serious at that point. The counts always move different when we are under 200 days!

I'm glad to see Winter go. It was time. Soon we will be in Spring. Hitting the 250 day milestone is going to be HUGE. And the best part is, some of my best / most happy times are coming up here within a matter of weeks. Easter, Christmas Hunting at Hobby Lobby, etc....
After today it looks like spring will be here in the forecast. I believe this weekend will be a good time for babyback ribs and Memphis cut.

I have those dreams all year long!It may officially be spring tomorrow but I am dreaming of turkey and mashed potatoes. I have been trying to talk my fam into having that for Easter, Everyone just looks at me and rolls their eyes. Rude, if you ask me.
