Series S. I have been told by many friends that unless I am an extreme hardcore gamer that needs an optical drive to play disks / DVDs, and run true 4K at all times, that the S will be plenty for me. I can't tell you the last time I actually bought a game disc. I think it was when the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came out back in 2015.
Anyway, if for whatever reason I am not satisfied with it and want more, I figure by that time it will be a lot easier to get an X. I could buy one now with little effort, but they are for sale as much as 100% markup on the market. I got my S for a little over $400 bucks, which is about 75 bucks over retail. Not the best price, but not horrible either, considering how scarce both the X and S still are. My hope is that by this time next year, the scarcity is mostly resolved and I could easily upgrade to the X without giving an arm and a leg.
Update: 2nd COVID vaccine done! I'm over an hour out from having the second shot, and I feel fine. No sore arm or nothing. I will update all later tonight / in the morning with how I am doing day 2!
April has been a great month and it has gotten us that much closer to Thanksgiving! I hope May is as kind. It is a dreary, rainy Wednesday here, almost Thanksgiving Eve weather!

Our next milestone will happen in 2 days when we reach the Arrival Of May which is the 6th month on the 11 month journey back to November. Ahh yes folks. The Halfway Marker to November is coming. And you know what else is coming? Our best friend CW today on this Thursday will post a great video for us. He always comes through for us doesn't he? I think he's the most reliable person in this thread. Always delivering for us. Now that I boost his ego hopefully he won't fail us! Today is gonna feel like Thanksgiving when I open up that Xbox! I feel good too from my second shot, so I will be able to play some tonight. I only have achy knees / legs, that feel like I just got done running a marathon / 10k. No fever.
