I'm happy for you! I think I'm picking up your excited vibes, because I'm getting that nostalgic feeling of opening up a new console. Let me know what game(s) you end up playing on your first night!

"Xbox - the official video game console of MMC."
My wife Hogged the new system. She downloaded Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, to do a comparison on the visuals. We were both blown away from how much better the graphics looked. Just gorgeous. I downloaded over the witcher 3: wild hunt, because Xbox's "Smart Delivery System" means that whatever version of a game you buy, you can play it on either the X/S series or the Xbox One. So it keeps you from having to buy the games more than one time to play on a different system. Haven't tried it out yet, but it was a gorgeous game when it came out 6 years ago, so I imagine it will look just as nice, if not a bit better.

Tomorrow I will play the Resident Evil Village demo, and I'm sure it will be the first "new" game that I download and play on the S.

LOL! That is awesome that your wife usurped the Series S and even more awesome that she's interested in gaming. Rock on, Mrs. Snake!

Hopefully you get some gaming time in over the weekend. I am super curious to see how the Mass Effect trilogy will look remastered and running on the Series S. That will be one of my first purchases when I finally decide to pick up a console.

It's funny...my wife never had much of an interest in video games (in spite of my best efforts to get her hooked) until she watched me play Bioshock on the 360 years ago. I noticed every time that I started a gaming session, she would eventually show up earlier and earlier each time and just sit and watch. Soon it became, "Are you going to play Bioshock tonight?" I found it hilarious that she was most interested in THAT game out of all of them that I've played before. She loved it so much that when the Bioshock Collection was announced for the Nintendo Switch, she bought it herself and told me, "Now you have to play through all of them so I can see what happens."

Love this!! Everybody loves Raymond is one of my favorite sitcom re-runs to watch. Their holiday ones are the best!
Mine too! Although I had a really hard time liking Raymond's parents. Doris Roberts played his mother TOO well...she could shift from abhorrent to sympathetic and back again at the drop of a hat. The Barones are an extremely dysfunctional yet lovable family of goofballs.

I didn't watch Everybody Loves Raymond the first time around but my dad was a big fan and I remember him getting such a kick out of Raymond's dad!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 208
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 184
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 123

Happy Welcome To May! The introduction "may" spoil today's big milestone. But that's ok. First let's get to our 3 countdowns before we get to that part of the program. We have 208 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 184 days to go until November, and 123 days till The Bers. That's all 3 of our counts here on this Saturday. Today is a MILESTONE folks. We welcome in the Arrival of May and that's our 6th month on our 11 month long road to November. And yeah unofficially really today is Halfway to November. 6 months down and 6 to go. Is that enough excitement to start your weekend? Our next milestone actually happens in 8 days which falls on Mother's Day. It will be the 200 Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. Uhhh yeah folks. Remember when we had counts in the 3s? Soon we won't have any left in the 2s. I'm seriously not ready for that yet. Enjoy your day and weekend turkey fans. Have a great Welcome To May!

If you only knew LOL. She is a big time gamer. Even back in our dating days we both gamed a lot on the Xbox 360. When we got married, we tried to "share" a system, but it never worked. We had to each have our own, we played so much. We had two Xbox ones for a long time, I had mine in the spare room and she got the big TV lol. Now we have only one because they are so hard to find, but I'm sure over the next 6 months we will end up "having" to get a second. I'm already starting to save up for the PS5. It is eventual that I will have to buy one as it is a near certainty that there will be PS5 exclusive titles that I want to play!

Happy May! 6 more months until November. I can't wait!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 207
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 183
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 122

Happy May Weekend! We are moving ahead here into the 2nd half of this weekend of early May. Our 3 countdowns look like this: 207 days till Thanksgiving, 183 days till November, and 122 days till The Bers. I'd say all 3 of those look very good to me and I am sure they do to you as well. Guess when our next milestone is? It would be in 7 days. Yes that would be in 1 week on Mother's Day when we reach the 200 Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. And then folks that's it. No more 2s count in this thread ever again. I thought we just said that about the 3s count not too long ago? How is it already going to be the same for the 2s? Luckily we have 1 more full week to enjoy before we have to worry about that ahead of us. First things first though it's Sunday and I know all of you are probably hoping for a good and relaxing one. I know that I am looking forward to that myself. So enjoy today and think turkey. Have a great May Weekend!

So Halfsgiving is gonna be a thing. And we are going to have a turkey. I can't wait. And yeah, somehow over the past few days it got away from me that this month we get HALF WAY BACK to November, which happened yesterday, and now we are working on the Halfway to Thanksgiving part. Amazing.
