DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 47

Happy September Mid-Week! Today folks we have 70 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 47 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be 1 week from today when we reach the official arrival of the most amazing season of all which we know is Autumn. But here in this thread we already are in our Awesome Autumn and are certainly enjoying it. I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s poll and hopefully you’ll enjoy a special CW post today. He’s a busy man but he finds time to do this for us. By the way folks you notice that today is 10 weeks till Thanksgiving Day. I know 10 weeks is a ton of time. But when you’re used to 50, 40, 30 and 20…it’s hard to believe we’re at 10 now. But we are. I’m enjoying football so far. Week 2 begins tonight with the Thursday Night Game. I hope all of you who enjoy football get to watch some of it. And I hope you’re all enjoying your Thursday. It should be a good day. Some really nice weather here. By the way if you ever have any suggestion to be added to this thread please let me know. If you want to see something or just want something changed. I’m all ears. Remember our friend Rich is the one who came up with the idea of Tom Turkey Day and that caught on pretty well. Can you move Thanksgiving to the second week in November? That way we can have 2 extra weeks of Christmas.

10 weeks certainly is jarring... Next week we'll be in single digits!

But let's enjoy the next 10 weeks at a slowwwwwwww pace. Before you know it, our count will be back at 50 again, and we'll be lamenting the length of time until the next Thanksgiving.

Running way late today! Had a all day long EV car battery rebuild yesterday and a Toyota plagued with electrical gremlins today. Its bad when I keep a extinguisher beside me..lol. Well lets see what I can dig up late.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 46

Happy 2nd Half Of September! Today folks we have 69 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 46 days to go until November. Our next milestone won’t be this coming weekend. It will happen next Thursday though when we welcome in the official start of Autumn. But in this thread we already are half a month into our “Awesome Autumn” which will last right up to and through Thanksgiving Eve. What a long time we have to enjoy this time of year. Autumn is pure magic. If you haven’t felt it yet maybe next week’s turn of the season officially will help you start to feel it. I hope no matter what your plans are this weekend that you have a great time. CW messaged me yesterday saying he’s ready for some turkey. Aren’t we all CW? But I am glad we aren’t close to turkey day. Maybe we can do a preview turkey here to celebrate the arrival of autumn next week. CW can cook and we’ll all come over. I think that sounds good. I have no problem helping out CW by doing the dishes. And I’ll ask my mom to bake an apple pie (she makes a great one). Now that we all invited ourselves over to CW’s home just remember someone bring the cranberry sauce because we know CW has a habit (at least once) of forgetting it on Thanksgiving. Happy September Weekend! Today folks we have 68 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 45 days to go until November. Our next milestone(s) will be in 5 days when we all welcome in the most awesome season of all which is known as Autumn and Tom Turkey Day #10. I know all of you are looking forward to the best season of all but right now we’re already here in our Awesome Autumn as we begun it early. That’s how we do things in this thread. Summer has been great I think but I know all of us are looking forward to Autumn which believe it or not at least officially will bring us right up until a few days before Christmas. Yikes. Think about it once we hit autumn we will not leave it until we’re in a new thread. I know that definitely should scare all of you. It scares me for sure. And I know this is the time of year where we all hope to slow things down so I’m telling you this weekend try to make some time if you can to enjoy the calmness. No rushing around. Try to take a nap. Play with your pets. Hang out with the kids. Do a BBQ. Watch t.v. Just enjoy it a bit. It’s fun to make plans and do things but just like on Thanksgiving which we all love it’s great to have times where you just hang out with family and relax. It’s just a great thing to do any time of the year. And as we move along in The Bers you’ll want to make those moments more and more special. Now turkey fans I hope you all had a good week and are ready to have a great and fun weekend. Have a great September Weekend!​

Our next milestone(s) as Rich pointed out are a double one on Thursday when we reach the Arrival Of Autumn & Tom Turkey Day #10. REALLY? The 10th Tom Turkey Day of 11? You know that’s just insane. But it will happen. And we continue in our Awesome Autumn here and I hope everyone has had a good first half of the weekend. The great thing is you still have a 2nd half of it to go and I hope you all enjoy it as much as you possibly can. Thanks for being here today and I hope all of your weekend plans are going great. Now for all you turkey fans I just want to say that you all are the best people I’ve ever met. Yes, we may not have met in person but meeting you at MMC has been a pleasure. Don’t worry I’m not announcing my retirement from the Thanksgiving Thread (although I think Rich wants to get rid of me so he can take over this thread…haha just kidding Rich). But I just wanted to acknowledge all of you today because we’re really in a great spot right now and I know things will move on and we may forget to really sometimes just say how great this site is, this thread is and the people here are. So pat yourselves on the back. And enjoy your Sunday. Keep it moving and enjoy Week 2 of the NFL. I sure have loved football so far this early part of the season. @Edge, it has been a pleasure meeting you too and you are so kind to thank us when you are the one putting in so much time and dedication. Thanksgiving Week, Thanksgiving Eve, and Thanksgiving are some of my most favorite days/combo of days and this thread has elevated that love. And as I have mentioned MANY times before, the weekly count gives my Mondays a big boost!
