DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 350
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 327
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 266

Happy December Driven! Today is our last 50 folks. What do I mean? I’ll explain but first let’s look at the countdowns. We have 350 days to go until Thanksgiving, 327 days remaining until November, and 266 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone is still 12 days away (a dozen) when we celebrate the Arrival Of Winter (the 1st of 3 seasons on our awesome journey back to Autumn). Today is the Final Fifty…no not THAT one (like the final fifty days to The Bers or Thanksgiving)! I mean WEEKS. Thankfully…would give everyone a nervous breakdown if it was 50 days till Thanksgiving again lol. But yeah today is the 50-week marker to Thanksgiving. Just something I note as I said I kind of look at the 50 marker as a reset button of sorts and then I guess everyone looks at January 1 as one also. But it’s amazing Thanksgiving was 2 weeks ago. In some ways it feels like it was yesterday but other ways it feels like it was forever ago. And I know all of you are happy where we are in the count. It’s great to have them be so high. There’s this feeling of no pressure. And that’s a great thing. But now we deal with the Christmas Season pressure. Oh boy. Bring on CW for his videos today. It’s Thursday. Let’s do it CW. Have a great December Driven!

350 Days to Thanksgiving! That's a mini milestone! Tomorrow will be cool to see that count under 350! And we will hit 300 days to November here in a few weeks from now! Even though Thanksgiving was only 2 weeks ago, I can really see the difference in the countdowns! The beauty of the bonus months / time!

Afternoon everybody! I had to make a run to Target and Michaels early this morning. I had a 40% off coupon burning a hole through my phone to use up. Same old deal...the whole store is marked down it seems. I finally found a ink set that wasnt marked down to use it on. Even managed to snag some fall items that were 90% off. Video will be posted below.

Some weeks it takes me a while to choose my answer, but this week it was easy--- D. for me!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 349
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 326
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 265

Happy Double Digits December! Today we have reached another day folks and we look above at our 3 counts which signal the following: 349 days till Thanksgiving, 326 days till November, and 265 days till The Bers. Our next milestone? It’s going to be in 11 days when we reach the Arrival Of Winter. Amazing isn’t it? We are 15 days now since Thanksgiving Day was here. Hard to believe. But in a way it feels so much longer. The long and cold winter is still ahead of us (despite the next 10 days look way above normal temperatures). But it will come eventually. And that’s why we have to enjoy these (very) late autumn days we have left in the holiday season. It certainly feels like a very unique time of the year. I’m glad we have all 3 counts for such a very, very, very long time to keep us plenty of company here in this thread. All of you Thanksgiving fans fear not. We had our time and we will again someday. But I know that I need a very long rest and time to think about what was so great about this Thanksgiving. And we can say “next year” for a few more weeks thankfully. Makes it seem like we have so much more time to enjoy the ride. Now all of you fans of the holiday season get out there and enjoy your Friday. Have the best one you can possibly have. Have a great Double Digits December!

For the ham lovers!

My wife does a honey glazed ham, complete with the pineapple rings, brown sugar, and little cherries, every Thanksgiving and Christmas, as part of the "fixins". We even do a "little" ham in the instant pot the same way occasionally for Rudolph Days!

One great thing about Christmas week is that our dinner menu is very similar to Thanksgiving week, except we swap out the turkey with a ham. But everything else is practically the same. It's like a Thanksgiving do-over!

I'm looking forward to making mac and cheese again.

I am not overly joyous over ham myself but I am also making brisket and ribs. Mac n Cheese also this year which is very odd for this household. We will have Buffalo shredded turkey breast.
