DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 361
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 338
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 277

Happy Thanksgiving Finale! Today folks we look at the finale of this amazing week. But first we look at our counts above. We have 361 days till Thanksgiving, 338 days till November, and 277 days till The Bers. Our first (and next) milestone for this countdown will be on Wednesday (which is in 3 days) when we reach the Arrival of December. That will begin our long 11-month trek and journey back to the most amazing month of the year and that would be November. We still have 3 days left to enjoy being in it now though so let’s hold on to it while we can. I hope everyone has had a heck of a Thanksgiving Week. And enjoy the final day of it. I think that later today I will try to get back on here and post some final thoughts on Thanksgiving Week as a whole. I know everyone thinks about the day but you know here we always talk about the week. And it just really is special. There’s nothing like it. I have some random thoughts and reflections about it that I’d like to post later today. Of course, if you have anything you’d like to say about this week and how it’s been/felt please feel free. Maybe a new idea/realization? There are always new things each year. Have a great Thanksgiving Finale!

I look forward to reading your reflections and to hear what everyone else is thinking looking back over the week. It was a more typical Thanksgiving Week compared to last year, but I do not remember ever being this tired-- it hit me yesterday afternoon but I think there were signs of it as early as Friday afternoon. I may need to plan more naps and down time! LOL!

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving, surrounded by family with great food. The ache from the first Thanksgiving without Dave was always there but it was okay until late Friday afternoon when I was decorating and found the Christmas card I gave him last year. It was so bittersweet to find it. I am so thankful for the life we had and the knowledge that we will be together again someday.

Its always a bummer when its over with. That whole waiting all year, getting wound up when fall hits Hobby Lobby in July and 'Bers start and !Whoosh! Its all over with. Then the idea of rinse and repeating it just gnaws at me sometimes.

THANKSGIVING WEEK WRAP-UP
Thanksgiving Week is ending. It's been a heck of a week though. Honestly, it just reminds me how this week really is hard to beat. I know when Christmas Week comes we'll all get into the hype of it and feel it's hard to beat also. And it is. I think the bottom line is that these 2 weeks in their own right are far and away better than the other 50. It's not even close. This whole week was just awesome though. The 3 days at work are special. Being there is unlike any other week. The feeling...Thanksgiving Eve again blew me away. The most underrated day of the year by far. The feeling on that day is unreal. Bringing in my breakfast like always is special. Going to bed that night feels like the excitement of a little kid. And then on Thanksgiving Day of course it is crazy amazing. It's really the most amazing day of the year in so many aspects. We talk about it often but having it here recently the last few days reminded us of that. Just little moments you make. And even after it's over the 3 days after it Friday, Saturday, Sunday with the holiday spirit picking up and shopping/online etc. It's just awesome. Love it. The whole week. And it leads us right into the Christmas Season too. That's why I say it's the best week of the year even over Christmas Week because Christmas Week leads us to the end of the journey. Thanksgiving Week leads us to the holiday season. Anyway, I don't want to ramble too much and I'm very tired. It has been a fun/busy week. And now we have the Christmas Season to enjoy...all thanks to Thanksgiving Week. One final thing...the period from September 1 - Sunday before Thanksgiving (November 21 this year) is hard to beat. It really is. It's not part of Thanksgiving Week but the amount of fun/excitement/enjoyment I get in so many aspects of that time of the year is why I am a Bers guy. And why it's in this countdown. As much as I love this week the last few months leading into it are just amazing and awesome. And I wish we could live in that time of year forever. But we have to go through a winter ahead and eventually some day a summer sweat fest for our friend CW. And on a final note CW please make sure you don't forget the cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving 2022.
Good night everyone!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 360
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 337
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 276

Happy Next To Last Day Of November! We have reached Cyber Monday folks. That’s kind of an extension of the long Thanksgiving Week isn’t it? Well look at our counts above. We have 360 days to go until Thanksgiving, 337 days to go until November, and 276 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone (which will be our first milestone in this thread) will actually take place the day after tomorrow (that would be in 2 days) when we welcome in the Arrival of December (the start of the 11-month journey back to November). That’s going to be quite a first milestone. It’s Monday folks so I’m going to give you the Weekly Countdown to Thanksgiving Week which is at 51 weeks. I know. That sounds painful lol. But trust me we need a long buildup to go back there again. I hope you read my final thoughts on Thanksgiving Week from last night. I tried to post them while everything was still fresh enough in my head. I’m focused on the new thread/journey and it’s amazing we are fully in the Christmas Season now. It’s nice to have 3 counts again don’t you think? It just gives us more to look forward to. Have a great Next To Last Day Of November!

It's going to feel good hitting the first milestone again in this thread. Wednesday is not that far away. And I agree, seeing the "full" counts is part of the fun as we chip away at them over the coming days / weeks / months.

Happy Cyber Monday!

Sorry that I missed the closure of the 2021 thread, but I'm glad to be here for this one!

I have a ton of thoughts circling my mind about Thanksgiving 2021, and hopefully I'll find the time to record them here sometime this week.

Happy to join the March towards the 2022 Thanksgiving season!

If you missed the parade or just want to watch it again, here it is.
