I think kids saying Halloween and Christmas will definitely make those two knock Thanksgiving down to 3rd place. My great-nephew alone says Halloween enough times to cancel out all my Thanksgivings out!

Happy Next To Last Day Of September! Today folks we have 55 days remaining until Thanksgiving & 33 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Sunday folks. You know it will be the Arrival Of October. It will begin the final of our 11-month journey back to November. Incredible. But we will begin it then. Our Awesome Autumn continues here folks on this Friday and the beginning of our quiet 3-day weekend period. That’s one thing I love about Fridays is it gives us all a nice 3-day break and I really do have a pretty low-key weekend planned. I’ve been able to keep those going mostly lately. But Sunday evening I’m going to my annual Halloween lights show to celebrate the beginning of October and the start of the hardcore Halloween season. Thanksgiving fans know that when October arrives we wait quietly knowing what comes after that. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves shall we? Keep it real turkey fans. I've mentioned it before, but I enjoy the every week "3 day weekend" here in this thread. A nice little break from any serious topics or conversations, and we all come back energized and ready to resume the "hardcore" counting down when Mondays arrive again.

Happy September Finale! Today folks we have 54 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 32 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Sunday when we welcome in October. I can’t wait for it folks and I know all of you can’t as well. We move along here in our Awesome Autumn with the first full month of it almost done. We are trying to enjoy this final day of September as much as possible while still enjoying our middle day (and favorite day) of our quiet 3-day weekend period. It’s going to be awesome folks and I love this 3-day weekend we do here. Seems from the responses we got mostly people like the way this thread is going so we’ll stick with it. It’s really evolved the last several years. Funny thing I was thinking how Coach “interviewed” me on MMC (I think this was 2018/2019) and asked me the question “Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas” which is my favorite day of those 3 days? Know what my answer was? Thanksgiving. I could tell it surprised him a little but ironically that’s kind of around the time I started doing the Thanksgiving thread. And you know what? Enjoying this final day of September is my priority today too and to get a lot done. I am taking next Friday off so I can have a four day weekend and try to split the time between prepping for cold weather and enjoying October! After that the Thanksgiving thoughts will hit full force, especially deciding on a menu and watching to see what take and make meals my local grocery stores offer.
The menu is the best anticipation!

Now turkey fans maybe this spooky season instead of candy you can go looking for turkey? Hmm well that’d be different. A Halloween Turkey. I always have pizza on Halloween as a tradition. Happy October! To quote Game of Thrones, "and now my watch begins". It may be a bit early but I will start checking (and double checking) grocery flyers and websites for sales and announcements about Thanksgiving. Last year I bought a Thanksgiving Meal for 4 for dinner on Thursday, but this year I am leaning towards cooking, but I am thinking about inviting my nearby siblings and nieces and nephews over for Snacks and appetizers on Wednesday, or maybe on Friday. Which would all of you rather be invited to? Or is it just not a great time to add another gathering. I am obviously wavering! LOL!
I would love something like that on the Wednesday.
Happy Sunday everyone! Its been a whole day of apple pies and making cooked filling to freeze. The smell has got overwhelming so I retired to the backyard. We got Eggnog in the stores finally. Cant believe its finally October.
