DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 36
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 14

Happy Awesome Autumn! Today folks we have 36 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 14 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Sunday. That will be our Home Stretch till November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our weekly poll here on Wednesday as always!

What is your least favorite thing about November?
  • Halloween is over.
  • It starts to get colder.
  • I’m usually not ready to start my holiday shopping yet.
  • Thanksgiving Day is a bit overrated.
  • I’m going with A. B is a close second though. But as a true Hardcore Halloween fan I do get slightly sad on November 1. But I try to snap out of it quickly with the amazing Thanksgiving month that we here are talking about all year long coming. What about you turkey fans? Are you gobbling your way through the middle of the week? I bet you are. Have a great Awesome Autumn!

Edge, I read this by mistake as "What is your favorite thing about November", and I saw you answered "A", and that sort of stung because I was like, "Wow", I thought he was a Halloween fanatic like the rest of us! Then I read again and laughed out loud.

I think on this subject I have to answer "A". The night of 10/31 and even most of 11/1, I actually do feel the "sadness" of Halloween being over. There's a picture I think I still saved from reddit, a guy took a picture of his neighborhood on the morning after Halloween, and it was foggy and just empty. Honestly looked like something out of Silent Hill. They tell you that pictures can't talk? Well, this one spoke a thousand words and you could "feel" it. And that's really how I feel on each 11/1 even though I know the best is yet to come with Christmas Season.

But you see, all of us here at MMC know the secret. The holidays are never really "over". We have special days for each of our beloved Holidays all through the year! We don't have to miss them for very long, fortunately! Have a great day!

It is B for me too. The colder weather starts to move in around November.

The post Halloween sadness might just be a flicker. It is really hard to be sad with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the way. I just love that mood swing on November 1st switching from Halloween vibes to Thanksgiving/Christmas.

Soon we'll see 30s for lows and that's when I'll dread the cold.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 35
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 13

Happy Fresh Fall! Today folks we have 35 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 13 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Sunday folks when we arrive at the Home Stretch till November. We move along in our Awesome Autumn and now today do our weekly Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!

As I go along happily on all these fall/Halloween activities I couldn’t help but wonder what would be a good Thanksgiving activity if we invented one? 4th of July has a hot dog eating contest. Halloween has all these haunted houses. Christmas has musicals. Easter has egg hunts. Thanksgiving? Not counting Macy’s Parade. Turkey Trot? I think I’ve heard of that but has anyone ever participated or do you have a better idea for a Thanksgiving activity? Just curious.

I think Thanksgiving is such an amazing day the way it is. It doesn’t need much else does it? It’s almost like too perfect where you wouldn’t even want to mess with it if you could try to make it better. It’s hard to make perfection better isn’t it? Look at Rich…just kidding. Now turkey fans enjoy your Thursday. Have a great Fresh Fall!

I don't know that they are really "Thanksgiving" activities, but I run a 13.2 mile half marathon at the very beginning of November, and then do a 3.2 mile "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving morning itself! But I feel like those things just happen to be happening in November and around Thanksgiving, and not Thanksgiving themed itself.

I'm also struggling on finding another activity to add to Thanksgiving. Eating, relaxing, and watching football is pretty good.

Have a great Thursday!
