Thanksgiving 2023 Thread

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 247
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 186
Happy Next To Last Day Of February! Today folks we have 269 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 247 days to go until November, and 186 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Wednesday when welcome in the Arrival Of March. Ahh that will be a big one folks as I always consider March 1 to be such a turning point in the year not very unlike September 1. But just on the opposite end of the year. We move along in our Winter Wonderland (2 days left of it in the month of February) with our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week and it stands at 38 weeks. We move along now through the 30s slowly but surely. And I do emphasize both of those things. We’re still in winter folks. But if you’re a turkey fan like myself you may be thinking turkey already. I’m really excited for Saturday as I have my first ever Mini Thanksgiving. I really wonder how that will be and go. I’m excited to see as I’ve never had one before but we pretty much are going with the essentials of turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, biscuits and gravy. I think that will be more than enough to get a real feel and taste for Thanksgiving in March. Now turkey fans I hope you are ready to get a good start to your week going here on Monday. And we’ll be back tomorrow on Tuesday for another Picture Day as we do every Tuesday in this thread. Have a great Next To Last Day Of February!

Got nailed by a power outage last Wednesday and it just returned last night. Can't say it was super fun, but glad it's back! Looks like I have some catching up to do. I completely lost track of time and I'm now shocked tomorrow is the last day of the month. I feel like I've time traveled!
We're a week out from the mini Thanksgiving! This is the week of mini Thanksgiving! I feel some vibes already between the weather and everything else, but I kind of wonder how this week will feel. I say a million times that I think the week leading up to Thanksgiving is the most exciting of the entire year, so if we capture only "half" of how that feels, we really caught lightning in a bottle.

Wow, that's a long time without power. I'm glad it's restored now.
And at someplace like North Pole, New York or Alaska; Christmas Valley, Oregon; Santa Claus, Indiana, Arizona or Georgia; Santa, Idaho; or Christmas, Florida or Michigan.
That is a long time without power! I hope you had plenty of books/puzzles/activities and were able to stay warm/comfortable.

Happy Farewell To February! Today folks we have 268 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 246 days left until November, and 185 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be TOMORROW folks so be here for it with a special weekly poll as we welcome in the month of March. Indeed, we’ll be completing our 3rd full month since November ended later tonight. What some people consider the 3 winter months too. Nice. But here in this thread we continue in our Winter Wonderland time of year and enjoying every moment and every step along the way of it. Now if you are enjoying your Tuesday share a picture here on Picture Day. It certainly is a great time to post those pictures. And you know what I’m having Saturday. I’m hyping myself up for my first ever (and hopefully not last ever) Mini-Thanksgiving. 2 full months here in the books after tonight folks of this year. Pretty incredible isn’t it? Well don’t panic. These 2 months combined are shorter than any other 2 months combined back to back. I know it may not feel that way but it’s just statistically true. Keep it real my friends and turkey family. I've thought about this for a long time and wondered if anything like that has ever been done over the years. I would for sure be willing to attend if it was within driving distance to me.
So long February! March gets us one more month closer to being "back". And the Halfway point to the Bers is coming up right ahead. How incredible!

Ugh....sorry to hear you were out that long...it is definitely terrible!!
I didn't have very many Bers feels in February. Just a result of the early Spring weather. But the closest it came to feeling like the Bers again was this past Sunday evening when I watched an XFL game on ESPN+. Football in February, post-Super Bowl, is a wonderful thing.
Know what the worst part was? It's almost verboten to say here.... But we had to toss all of our mini Thanksgiving leftovers! Oh the humanity!
That sucks ... but ... it does give you another reason to do another mini Thanksgiving
