Happy Feeling Friday! Today folks we have 216 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 194 days left until November, and 133 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone is less than a week from now when we reach Tom Turkey Day #5. For all you turkey fans I hope you’re enjoying your Super Spring as much as I am. Yesterday, it was in the 60s and sunny. It felt great too. And I hope you are enjoying the first of our 3 days of our quiet 3-day weekend here in this thread. We had plenty of our normal busy business Monday through Thursday through the heart of the week. Now it’s time to kick back, relax, and enjoy the weekend ahead. We just happen to get started a little early in this thread. What’s so wrong with that? Oh my boss is a little crazy in terms of “planning ahead” and she mentioned my coworkers vacation coming in September. She’s like is the calendar up yet? I’m like uhh no we usually have up 3 months at a time. But it kind of made me smile when someone outside of The Bers fan club mentions September and The Bers. But also made me say to myself let’s slow down while we can. And enjoy the 2nd half of our spring and summer ahead. Keep it going turkey fans all day long. Have a great Feeling Friday!

We talked about September just yesterday! It got me excited even though I know that is still 4+ months away. I've been enjoying Spooky Spring so much that I haven't been missing Thanksgiving and Christmas as much. I am so happy that naturally late April / early May is really when I start craving the holidays again and I enjoy how pretty much each month after April is more and more of a build up emotionally until we find ourselves back in the "Sweet Spot"! It won't be long until we are in the pre-Bers month with less than 100 days to go until Thanksgiving. (Aug 16 = 99 days)
I'm having turkey thoughts today. In fact, we are going to Buc-ee's later, and I'm strongly considering getting their BBQ turkey sandwich for lunch. It's sounding pretty amazing. And all morning long I've been thinking of the Popeye's cajun-style turkey. Really regretting not buying an extra for Halfsgiving this year.
Slow up...I'm not even ready to be 100 days till The Bers!

Happy Aprilish Weekend! Today folks we look at our counts and see 215 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 193 days to go until November, and 132 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Thursday which will be our Tom Turkey Day #5. That will be a major one for sure folks. But for now I’m enjoying my Super Spring (weekend). I know all of you are as well. And we continue here in this thread in our 3-day weekend of quietness. Or at least it appears to be quiet doesn’t it? We always try to keep it laid-back in this thread for 3 days in a row. And then we just get to kick back and relax. That’s always a good feeling in any thread and any home on the weekend. It was a busy week and I do have a busy weekend planned. But I’ll make some time of course to try to rest a bit too. Now for all of you turkey fans I hope you’re having a great time with your family and friends. And I hope that you get to enjoy your time with each other during this spring weekend. Keep it real my turkey friends. Keep the faith. Enjoy the fact we’re still in April. Because there is no pressure in this thread in April. And there “may” (pun intended) be a lot less excitement in April than a month that is in front of us but that’s ok. Today I am missing Thanksgiving in a big way for the first time in 2023. I am grateful I made it until the 112th day of the year, and thank @Edge612 and the rest of my turkey-loving friends for keeping the spirit so vivid. I am going to treat myself to a Cranberry Ginger Ale and look for some sitcom Thanksgiving episodes. Gobble gobble.

Our next milestone will be on Thursday with the arrival of Tom Turkey Day #5. Looking forward to it aren’t you all? I am. Well folks we move ahead into another day of our Super Spring and the 3rd and final day of our quiet weekend. 3-day style like we always do. And that’s a major plus for all of us to enjoy and bask in the glory of it all. I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying your time this weekend. It’s a very busy weekend here so really I feel like I’m enjoying it but at the same point I’m wishing I had more time to rest lol. But I have breaks coming in May, June and (a whole week off) in July. Lots of time ahead to kind of relax in later spring and through the heart of summer. I’m good with that. For now I go ahead and move on to my Sunday. Our final chance to relax in this thread. We have to relax now in it before the busy times begin on Monday like always. Keep it real turkey fans and get ready for the week that will bring us the NFL Draft. Talk about major for a Thanksgiving fan. I hope this doesn't get me kicked out of MMC....
But for me...the best week of the year is Thanksgiving week. Thanksgiving starts the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We aren't in school the next week and I get to stay home and be with the girls. I love going and doing family things the weekend before Thanksgiving and going grocery shopping. The weekend before it also seems the rest of the world finally catches up to us on the Christmas spirit. On Monday-Wednesday, I get to cook and watch Christmas TV....and on Wednesday about 5:00, Doc comes home and it is officially "that time." I just love everything about Thanksgiving week...and it is the kickoff to Christmas.

I did have the BBQ turkey sandwich from Buc-ee's. It was every bit as delicious as I was expecting.
I love NFL Draft week! Hopefully there's some news about the schedule included. I'm not asking for much; just hoping that they leak the Thanksgiving Day games like they did last year!
