DAYS TILL THE BERS: 130
Happy Final Week Of April! Today folks we have 213 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 191 days to go until November, and 130 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will take place on Thursday so be here for that. It will be Tom Turkey Day #5. Folks it’s Monday and this is a BIG one. Our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week is at 30 weeks. Ironically we’re also 30 days from the 100-Day Marker Till The Bers. Very funny how that works out today huh? We certainly are in our Super Spring still and have a full month of it to enjoy so let’s enjoy it ok? Thanks. We don’t need to look ahead to a month from now or even a week from now. We know what’s coming. But right now I’m focusing on this week and getting the most out of April that I can. And I hope you all had a great weekend with thoughts and feelings of turkey, stuffing, and gravy. But keep it real turkey fans and have a great time with everything going on in your world. And I hope you all are doing well. April has been quite the month as I’ve mentioned with a real mixture of winter and summer. But thankfully it’s spring right now. And that’s a great season to me that I want to cherish and hold on to for as long as we possibly can before CW’s favorite season “The Sweatfest.” Have a great Final Week Of April!

In many ways I think this is the "last" stress free week. I totally get it now. It's a relaxing, peaceful time right now this last week of April. We indeed know what is on the way. Thoughts of Turkey and stuffing are helping me pass the time. Soon it will be time to try and "speed things along", but not today lol.

My longing for Thanksgiving has been very prevalent for most of 2023. I have missed that time of year more than any other. I can't read enough about it, I can't see enough pictures of it, and I can't stop thinking about it. I really, really miss it and look forward to its coming this year.
Big 3-0 with Tom Turkey Day happening this Thursday! What a great week this is going to be. I wish I could go back to Buc-ee's for another turkey sandwich. I'll have to find some other way to celebrate Tom Turkey Day this month. Maybe I'll try tying it to Spooky Spring. Spooky Tom, anyone?
Morning Turkey lovers! We had a soggy weekend here as usual but I managed to squeeze in a bbq yesterday. Down to a few days left till the big plane ride to Alaska.
Spooky Tom? Makes me think of the Jim Henson movie, Turkey Hollow.
With as far south as the Northern Lights are right now, in Alaska I bet they are going to be amazing.

Our next milestone will be the day after tomorrow (also known as Thursday). It will be Tom Turkey Day #5. Get ready for it folks. But today we move ahead in our Super Spring folks and really enjoying it. Cooler this week which I’m now at the point in spring where I’m kind of enjoying it. I always say May through September are the 5 warmer/hot months for our area so here hanging on to a cooler (borderline chilly) feeling is ok for me. I’m not rushing towards the heat just yet. It will come when it comes eventually. Maybe it will be a mild summer like it was a mild winter here. I’d be ok with that. Today is picture day folks. Tuesday. Yes. We like Tuesdays here. Well send your pictures and let’s all celebrate Thanksgiving through photos today as we do every Tuesday. I’ll be back to post later today. Folks have a great time today on your Tuesday as we get closer to the NFL Draft. My Jets got Aaron Rodgers finally. We’ll see how that goes though. Football season is a long way still from now. Congrats on getting Aaron Rodgers! Lots of buzz about the Jets now and I sort of feel like this is when the Jets got Brett Favre, I remember how exciting that was and everybody talking about it on the radio on the days following the signing.
