Happy Late April! Today folks we have 210 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 188 days to go until November, and 127 days left until The Bers. Our big milestone is here folks with Tom Turkey Day #5! Wow. Our next milestone? It’s actually on Monday. Do you know what Monday is? May Arrives. And folks we will be in our HALFWAY MONTH TILL NOVEMBER. Sorry for screaming that but it’s crazy to think about. Today’s Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below is in honor of a big day today.

30 weeks from today is Thanksgiving Day. Nobody outside of this thread in the entire world will probably realize that or think about it. But I always kind of smile on days like this. Part of it is because wow that’s so cool a big round # like that. Part of it is the progress we’ve made but the other part is I’m personally glad we still have 30 weeks.

Do you ever smile on dates like this for Thanksgiving or even another one of your favorite holidays? I always think it is so cool how nobody else is really going to even think about something like that today. Turkey fans we move along in our Super Spring and I want to thank you for all of your support in this thread. It is amazing where we are right now but the best part is we have all the best times ahead of us. Have a great Late April!​

Morning everyone...I think its 8:40 in Fairbanks and I have some serious jet lag happening. They have that dirty old snow left on the ground here..its a horrid sight. Tomorrow we will be in the western part of Brooks Range and its game on.

Happy Final Friday Of April! Today folks we have 209 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 187 days left until November, and 126 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday. It will be major. It will be the Arrival of May. We will have completed 5 full months since November. We will reach the Halfway Point to November starting again. And we will begin the month that will see us to the most important markers of the year (Halfway to Thanksgiving and 100-Day marker Till The Bers). That’s just how I feel about May. But we’ll worry about that later. Not today. We start our 3-day quiet period here with our Super Spring continuing through April and a good chunk of May ahead. I hope you’ve all enjoyed your week so far and are ready to enjoy your weekend ahead. And to be honest I think it’s been a good week. But really all of you make it that way. And April has been a fun month really. A great spot on the calendar. It’s ironically cooled off now quite a bit after getting hot early (now we’re below average and for most of the foreseeable future). Keep it going turkey fans as the NFL Draft continues. I hope everything in your world is going ok and that you keep up the gobble gobble. Have a great Final Friday Of April!​

Greetings from the Brooks Range all!! Our 1st area got cancelled due to Polar Bears still lounging around. I always liked our area we went to better. I even snagged a turkey breast this morning when we stopped to pick up steaks and chops they froze up for us. We got our tents up and bear fence going, looked across the creek...

Happy Next To Last Day Of April! Today folks we have 208 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 186 days to go until November, and 125 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday when we reach the Arrival of May. But who wants to think about Monday on a Saturday? Not us. Our 3-day quiet stretch in this thread continues here with the middle day of it (Saturday). My favorite day of the week to be honest. Although I do like all 7 days for different reasons. We move ahead through our Super Spring here folks and for those of us who crave more of it don’t worry. We still have plenty of time to enjoy in our Super Spring starting with this weekend. Now for all you turkey fans I hope your week has gone ok and you’re here ready to get your weekend started. Maybe you’ll go out or stay in. But either way I hope you have a good time and enjoy the break from the long week. Now keep it real and stay safe out there no matter what your plans are. And I hope you enjoy the rest of the NFL draft. The schedule is going to come out soon folks. It should be about another 1-2 weeks and we’ll see it. One of the highlights of my year just seeing it out and knowing we have plenty of time and all summer to enjoy before it gets here. Have a great Next To Last Day Of April!​

Happy almost last day of April! It did sure feel good seeing Football on the TV again, even though it wasn't real games or anything. I still enjoy watching old games on Youtube for Tom Turkey Day. Just enough of the "feeling" to get me through until we are back to Football Season proper. Have a great day!

I find that some days I really miss Thanksgiving a little more than others days and today is one of those missing days.
