Thanksgiving 2023 Thread

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 207
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 185
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 124
Happy Farewell To April! Today folks we have 207 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 185 days to go until November, and 124 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Monday. That would be tomorrow. We will start our week off with the May Milestone with it arriving on Monday. We move ahead in our quiet 3-day weekend period here with the final part of it. Our final 3rd of the weekend here and ironically the final of our 1st 3rd of the year. Folks – 1 “3rd” down and 1 “3rd” to go until The Bers. Pretty crazy huh? Even from the beginning of the year when The Bers count really started we are now halfway back to The Bers. Pretty amazing. For all you turkey fans I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It’s been a relaxing one here for a change which is nice and the weather kind of added to it being that way. Thanks for that with all the rain it is providing. Now turkey fans I hope you enjoyed the NFL Draft. I really am curious to see when that NFL Schedule comes out. I’ve heard around May 11th but the date is always very uncertain. They seem to just announce it the day of or day before that it will be coming out now. Now for all of us let’s enjoy the final day of this amazing month of April. And we move along through our Super Spring. Don’t panic as we have 3 full weeks (plus more) of Super Spring ahead. Lots of days and even weeks to enjoy of it. Hopefully the weather turns nicer again eventually. Have a great Farewell To April!

We will indeed see the Halfway point to Thanksgiving this coming month! That's so very exciting!
I had one of those days recently. I was grateful that it hadn't happened sooner but it did hit hard, maybe because it was the first, or because it was delayed, or both. I so often find myself throughout each week thinking about Thanksgiving Week, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays but this year I think it is the whole month of November that I am looking forward to, but ultimately it is Thanksgiving that is calling.
Morning everyone! Well Spring bear in the Brooks Range is officially over for us. My buddy scored yesterday, and shot mine walking in last night. The girl got hers awhile ago but they are in a pretty rugged area.
I was driving to see the cherry blossoms this afternoon and passed a Kroger truck and the picture on the back of a roasted turkey. Wow. The feels!

This is such a big month folks in this thread as we all know we’re Halfway To November and this month has so many milestones. So you may ask what our next one is? It’s actually on Sunday which will be the 200-Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. Folks – This is the FINAL week we’ll see any 2’s counts in this thread ever. Let that hit you. No more 3’s and soon no more 2’s. Getting pretty crazy already isn’t it? Now with it being Monday let’s do our Weekly Countdown Till Thanksgiving Week. It stands at 29 weeks. We have moved into the 20s but don’t worry too much yet. We’re still not halfway so we’re good. Once we get there we can start panicking (or getting excited depending how you look at it). For you turkey fans out there I hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to this week ahead. May is here. A great time of year. Mother’s Day and Memorial Day both are looming this month. It seems like May is indeed the month of milestones. And so many are coming our way this month. We just hit halfway to Halloween and I am ready to celebrate Halfway to Thanksgiving next! And plus at the end of the month we have "The Road" opening up! So much to get excited over! Have a great day!

Happy Monday morning all. We are back in Fairbanks waiting for our hides and skulls to get tagged and sealed. Saw another random moose walking through town..lol. Waiting on another round of buffalo burgers for lunch. The owner wouldnt make them for breakfast for us.
When I was in Anchorage, a moose kept running in front of our hotel. I figure he worked for the local travel bureau.

Happy Early May! Today folks we have 205 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 183 days to go until November, and 122 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Sunday. It will be the very important 200-Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. I said it yesterday folks and I’ll say it again today but that will be our FINAL day of any 2’s counts in this thread EVER. Sound big enough now? We move ahead in our Super Spring feeling good and enjoying the ride together. I love this month of May and it really does remind me of September sometimes. Kind of the “Sweet Spot” if you’re a summer fan knowing you haven’t reached it yet. And you still have those huge significant turning points later in May which pretty much come one after another. Nonstop. Right now though we have a nice time in early May to enjoy and relax together in this thread. But don’t relax TOO much. It’s Tuesday which means it is Picture Day. So gather all of your pictures up and post one or two (or more) and let us see some turkey, stuffing, gravy, football, parade or anything that will make us think about Thanksgiving.
