I think I mentioned it in the Halloween thread, but it really does feel like May is a month for non stop milestones / special days / moments..

Sunday of course is the big day in this thread. I have said for years that once a 200 level count is gone, it seems like the time just melts away!

When I was in Anchorage, a moose kept running in front of our hotel. I figure he worked for the local travel bureau.

Lol..quite common for them to just walk in places also. Most places dont have automatic doors due to wildlife.

Happy May Mid-Week! Today folks we have 204 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 182 days left until November, and 121 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Sunday folks. It will be the 200-Day Marker Till Thanksgiving. We move along through our Super Spring here still in early May with a Weekly Wednesday Poll (as always)!

How do you feel about the NFL Schedule’s Thanksgiving Day games releasing soon?​

• I’m not a big football fan but I love them announcing it just to hear people talk about it.​

• My answer is C. I’m a big football fan and love hearing about the games for Thanksgiving. That day, to me, as a football fan really is the highlight of the season. Having football on Thanksgiving is just 100% right. I don’t sit there watching all 3 games from start to finish but we have it on (like the parade) all day. That’s the best. What about you? My answer is C!! I've said it a hundred times or more on here, but I think that Fall/Football/Thanksgiving all go together! Football is something unique that technically begins in late summer / Fall "Preseason" with those August preseason games, and lasts all the way through The Bers and even takes you part of the way through the new year with the playoffs and Super Bowl weekend.

And having it on in the background of Thanksgiving is just "the way". We sit and watch some of the games but mostly we end up sleeping through some of it after a huge meal.

I am not a huge football fan but my husband is so we always have it on TV and it is always on at Thanksgiving.
