Should be next week!I'm a B on this one. I'm not an NFL football fan. But if there is an announcement that involves Thanksgiving, then that gets me excited.

Comfy!I hate dressing up. I luckily don't have to for work. On the holidays i wear my usually comfy pants(sports pants), tea shirt, and a hoodie when needed.
My family jokes that they haven't seen me even in jeans in years. Lol. I do have two weddings this year so i am going to have to bring out some formal wear and most likely will need a shopping trip because of my weight loss the last two years.
Sounds nice! For Thanksgiving, we always dress up a little bit. No ties, but dressier than jeans. I always wear a dress. But that is partly because I love dresses. And some of it is the practical side of me--I worked for 15 years at a place where women had to wear dresses so I have all of these nice dresses that need to be worn. LOL.
I am glad you wear them and am feeling some regret. I used to wear at least one dress and one skirt each week for years and I actually enjoyed the routine and truly the ease of wearing a dress, but since COVID we have not returned to the same standards and I have given many of them away. I kept more skirts than dresses, but even those may not make the next closet clear out.For Thanksgiving, we always dress up a little bit. No ties, but dressier than jeans. I always wear a dress. Sub-business casual had taken over the world. It seems fewer and fewer places require people to dress in anything but what we used to call "grubbies" when I was a kid--the things that we used to change in to to keep our school clothes nice. I had some business as the court which used to be the last bastion of dressing up. The courteous and competent woman who helped me was dressed in ripped jeans, sneakers that looked like they had been involved in some recent gardening, a t-shirt for an acid rock band and a hoody with bleach streaks all down the front. The woman sitting next to her was wearing pajama pants.I am glad you wear them and am feeling some regret. You too!Merry Friday!!
Likewise!Happy Fantastic Friday!
I have not interviewed for a job in years. For my last promotion and my last hire, they sought me out so I lucked out, but my first grown up interview was a gray suit with a blue silk blouse, hose and heels. Totally felt like a grown up. I don't think people dress for the next job they want anymore.I figured people would still bring out their best for a job interview but in the last few weeks there have been a number of people coming in and out wearing things that I do not think represent "the job they want to have". Just for fun, @LadyLynn can you remember what you wore to your first big interview? I wore a navy dress with abalone shell buttons and a lace Peter Pan collar, navy hose and pumps. I wish I had a picture of me wearing it!
