Watched a video this morning of a guy putting up his Christmas trains. I figure it takes him like 1/4 of the year to assemble, have it up and then disassembly.

Lol..I gripe about our Polar Express train around 1 of the trees. The size of the track layout is huge. I programmed a Raspberry Pi to play all the songs in the movie after I found a single car in a 2nd hand shop. Mounted the Pi and 2 speakers inside the modified car. But this guy in the video is next level insane. The man is an artist. The cable management was most impressive.
I'm going with C. Some of you might think I'm a crazy person, but it's all about location, location, location. Winters in Texas are mild, so we don't get the snow and ice that pervades the rest of the country. It's actually very pleasant. Spring is nice while it lasts, but it's SO short here. I'd honestly be surprised if we got more than a month of actual nice spring weather. And you all know already how I feel about summer...
We all know that Autumn is #1 (it technically includes 90% of the Christmas Season in it too folks which is crazy). So my question to you is out of the next 3 seasons how would you rank them in order of your favorite to least favorite?
Spring, Summer, Winter Summer, Winter, Spring Winter, Spring, Summer Spring, Winter, Summer Summer, Spring, Winter Winter, Summer, Spring
Happy Tom Turkey Day #1! I don't have any turkey to celebrate with today, but we're having both turkey and ham at my parents' house for Christmas, so maybe I'll eat a little bit extra.
How do you compare (or not) the days leading up to Thanksgiving? Maybe the best way is to compare them to the days leading up to Christmas. Seriously. It feels very (very) similar. Even though back then we were approaching the beginning of the holiday season and now we’re approaching the culmination of it, well they still have the same feeling of excitement that no other weeks can compare with these 2 weeks.
I had that voice since mid November! It started when we got back home after going out Halloween night but I fought it back. The days leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas have nearly the same feeling. Except right now there is that little voice in the back of my head saying "It's all coming to an end soon". Shut up little voice!
Keep fighting! Let's be present in our current situation.I had that voice since mid November! It started when we got back home after going out Halloween night but I fought it back.
Same here!Almost Christmas time! I dreaded my 2 trips to Wally yesterday and it was successful in proving me correct. Feels like its been a long time since Thanksgiving to me.
Yes!Keep fighting! Let's be present in our current situation.
Yes a lot of us got our wish, but we were just hoping it wouldn't be like the "normal" Christmases here where it is 50 and 60 degrees. Right now Christmas Day is supposed to be 30 degrees here, which somehow feels "just" Christmasey. I am glad today was not Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, because the weather is brutal and miserable.I'm surprised...thought more people disliked summer more than winter.
Anyway, it's going to FEEL like Christmas this year...one of the coldest we've had in decades!
