DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 76
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 15
Happy 2nd Half Of August! Today folks we have 98 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 76 days to go until November, and 15 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Home Stretch till The Bers. It will be a big one folks. For sure. The final stretch before The Bers. It’s coming in 5 days. Now we move along in our Summer Sweatfest here with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
This year Thanksgiving falls on November 23. Due to leap year next year it falls on November 28th (the latest it can ever fall). I always wonder if people like Thanksgiving earlier or later. I know we’ve talked about this before but it hit me lately how we’ll have an extra week next year to build to Thanksgiving. Honestly, I sort of like that, but then again it does make the holiday season seem even more crunched.
I won’t even think about next year’s thread until Thanksgiving Eve. That’s what I did last year too. I don’t want to think about it but I definitely had my eye on that date and how it falls later which is cool in a way (longer build) but makes the Christmas build a little shorter. Keep it real turkey fans and enjoy your mid-week. Have a great 2nd Half Of August!

I agree with Rich...I like it earlier too!
I, too, prefer Thanksgiving to come earlier in November. I like having the extra Christmas season time. Also, it's just nice to have some November left to enjoy after Thanksgiving is over before moving directly into December.
Seeing Thanksgiving be on November 28th really seems strange, even though it is a "natural" phenomenon. I feel like it might "cut into" Christmas Season just a tiny bit.

It is a little weird when December 1 happens before you even get back to work.
I always say I like 24-26 the best. But we have it a little earlier this year and a little later next year.
I like an early Thanksgiving too and the extra days between gobble gobble and ho ho ho!

Happy Fabulous Friday! Today folks we have 97 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 75 days left until November, and 14 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Home Stretch till The Bers on Tuesday. But it’s Friday so who wants to think about Tuesday right now? It’s a Friday here in our Summer Sweatfest and our 3-day quiet period in this thread. And we’re all enjoying it as it just begins today. Had a fun week here. I hope all of you did too. And then you have to look at Friday now and realize the weekend is approaching. We are in summer still enjoying our August while looking at The Bers starting to approach step by step. Pretty incredible. I remember being in January thinking this was so far away but here we are some. Now turkey fans I hope you’re enjoying some pre-season football and enjoying all of your turkey talk. Summer is a great season to think turkey. I’ve always said one of my favorite things to do in summer is think about the upcoming Bers season while enjoying the summer itself. Good combination. Not a ton of heat this summer but really a ton of humidity and plenty of clouds/rain. Not the nicest summer here but it is what it is. We’ll take what we can get right? For Tom Turkey Day this month, I think I'm gonna have to get one of those Bucee's turkey sandwiches. I know they're not low sodium, but they're so dang good. My mouth is watering thinking of one right now.

I've only ever had their brisket sandwich. Now I'm going to have to find an excuse to go out there and try that. I wish they weren't always so crowded.
I like the earlier Thanksgiving date. Thanksgiving still gets it's due, but the extra Christmas time is so sweet!
