Thanksgiving 2023 Thread

I dreamed I got to eat both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Afternoon everybody! We are back home with 3 moose and 1 very (in its previous life) angry/stalker Yukon Brown Bear. My guide vowed never again to hunt with me even though the owner warned him..lol I just have a knack of scoring browns very close. This one caught me move after the arrow hit him. Got tense for a few mins. I am missing the 50° days..ughh.
As the weather is cooling off I am really enjoying it and it certainly makes the days go by a little slower!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 71
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 49
Happy September Teens! Today folks we move along into the middle of the week with our counts looking as follows: 71 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 49 days to go until November. Our next milestone will NOT happen again this season. What? Well it won’t happen in summer (which is the season we’re still in). It will happen when Autumn arrives in 10 days officially. That will be on a Saturday folks. Saturday Milestones are the best. And that will be our season of course. The season we love the most. But here we started our Awesome Autumn a bit earlier as The Bers began. Definitely not feeling the sweat we felt in the hardcore summer now and that’s a good thing. Still warm enough though to not worry about wearing jackets or anything like that anytime soon. Now folks let’s do our Weekly Wednesday Poll!
What’s the one thing you get most excited for Thanksgiving Week (that doesn’t happen on Thanksgiving Day itself)?

- Tough one here. Because I do LOVE the entire week so much but I’m going to say A. You all know how I feel about Thanksgiving Eve. I say it’s the most underrated day of the year and nobody outside of this site and thread talks about it. But D is definitely an answer I could see a lot of people saying here. Oh 10 weeks from today is Thanksgiving Eve. My goodness. Have a great September Teens!

I would say "D" as well, but that almost feels like cheating. I think my official answer would have to be "C," since that weekend has some kind of special magic associated with it that makes the anticipation all the greater.
I am going to say D too...with Thanksgiving Eve close behind.

Happy Stupendous September! Today folks we have 70 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 48 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be when we reach Autumn. Don’t worry it won’t happen this week or weekend (or even next week). It will arrive 1 week from Saturday. We move along though in the early portion still of our Awesome Autumn (which we started with the Arrival of The Bers) with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!
10 weeks from today is Thanksgiving. When we reach a big round # like that it always hits me a little extra. I remember when we hit 50. And then 40. And 30. And 20. And now finally 10. 10 weeks is a whole lot of time. But why does it not seem as long from now till Thanksgiving as it does from December 26th to early March? The same distance in time but for some reason it doesn’t feel the same. Maybe turkey thoughts are a little closer than we think or maybe it’s just our imagination. Let’s make each step count.

It's true. The next ten weeks will probably fly by (although I hope they don't). Someone needs to crack the mystery of the space-time continuum so that we can find a way to slow down these days. And I don't even want to think about Dec 26th thru March yet.
