DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 52
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 30
Happy October Week! Today folks we have 52 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 30 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be on Wednesday when we reach the Final Fifty till Thanksgiving and we’ll celebrate that with a Weekly Wednesday Poll. But right now folks it’s Monday and in our Awesome Autumn we talk about our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. And it stands now at 7 weeks folks. Lucky #7. Or unlucky? I would say lucky because we are in the month of October which is absolutely awesome. And most of us as I’ve said link October/November together. It’s kind of interesting actually. That just gave me an idea for our weekly poll this week. I won’t spoil it. But it’s an interesting question in an interesting way that I’m not sure if we’ve ever quite asked it. For now friends we here are trying to enjoy the start of our new week. And I hope all of you are as well. Turkey fans unite yourselves and enjoy yourselves today here on Sunday. Keep it real and really enjoy it as much as you can. And be glad we’re in the month of October. For us turkey fans we know what month comes next. Not to rush there of courser. Seeing 30 days to November is surreal. I told Holly just last night that our next "big" family food day was going to be on Thanksgiving. Holy cow. Just like how October crept up on me, I think Thanksgiving is doing the same thing. What a wonderful feeling. Have a great day!
The final 50?? Oh, no. You all know what happens to the counts once we reach 50. Those 50 days tend to zoom by at warp speed. I love November and Thanksgiving, but I'm in no hurry to be there yet. Gotta enjoy Spooky Season first.
It is going to be back in the 80s this week. It is just not very fall like temperatures.
But on Sunday the high is supposed to be 55! That will feel like Thanksgiving and it will most likely be the end of that above average fall temperatures. That will also bring on those Thanksgiving feels that I enjoy when that first big colder temperature shift happens.

Seven weeks! So exciting! I think next Monday will be the big tipping point for me. I am taking Friday off and making a four day weekend, but once I have Columbus Day behind me I will have a keen eye out for sales and specials. I love Thanksgiving Week! Gobble, gobble!

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves (especially this time of year). Let’s look at today here in our Awesome Autumn on this Tuesday so we can do our weekly Picture Day. Post all your pictures here and let us see what thoughts you have when you think of autumn and Thanksgiving of course. Picture Day is the fastest rising feature in this thread. And I hope all of you will post as much as you can. I’ll be back later to post like I normally do every week. It’s been a warm start to October and dare I say we could get to 80 degrees today? It seems like it is possible. Summer in October? It happens most years for a few days. Not too surprising. We’re still in the early stages of autumn. Big milestone tomorrow! It's so exciting! We are going to look up one day and *poof* Thanksgiving will be all around us. I'm serious the time is just flying by now. Somehow I have to find a way to make these next 3 months take their time!

This is it for me. 50 Day Marker to me is the last "stop". It's now or never to enjoy the ride as much as we can. I feel like The Grinch. "I must stop Thanksgiving from coming!"
