Happy Mid-November Mid-Week! Today folks we move along and see that we have 8 days remaining until Thanksgiving. And Thanksgiving is our ultimate destination in this thread. And it is our FINAL milestone that we have to go. Nothing else is standing in our way now folks. And today we do our Weekly Wednesday Poll about Thanksgiving Day!

How do you feel about being just over a week away from Thanksgiving?
- It feels like it’s about time it’s here.
- It fees long overdue (like it’s taken forever).
- It feels like it went fast and it’s hard to believe we are here.
- Fast? Understatement it feels like we flew a year in a lightning type of speed.
- I’m going with C. I won’t say D only because a year is a long time still (thankfully). It does seem like a long time ago but it definitely feels like it went fast (especially The Bers months). C is an easy answer today, for me. I'm not sure exactly how we went this fast, but we sure did. Makes me get a little worried that December is going to fly by. One day at a time, I suppose. Have a great day!

Last Winter took forever to get through and made Thanksgiving feel like it was lightyears away. I have been watching and checking the countdown multiple times a day every week, every month, every season, and after every milestone and it seemed like it just wouldn't budge. But thankfully it did and we're finally here. Just 8 days away.

I'm happy to see this answer. And that's kind of the point of having these counts year-round is trying to stare at it you see it go slower than forgetting about it like the rest of the world and the first time you even think about Thanksgiving all year it's the middle of November!
I mentioned this in The Bers thread today but a guy on the radio asked the question "Is Thanksgiving Eve a thing?" The cohost stuck up for it and said yes it is. I thought of all of you and was screaming at them it's not only a thing it's the most underrated day of the year!
I was yelling at my computer screen when I read it over in The Bers. LOL

Happy 2nd Half Of November! Today folks we have 7 days remaining until The Bers. Our next milestone will be our FINAL Milestone folks and our ULTIMATE destination which will be Thanksgiving. And it does happen 1 week from today. And with that said let’s have our FINAL Thanksgiving Thought before the big day arrives!
When I think of the word special I think of Thanksgiving. Christmas would be magical. Halloween would be fun. But Thanksgiving I think is special. There is something very special about putting that turkey in the oven, having the parade on television and the football games too. And sitting down with everyone for a turkey feast all while realizing the most wonderful time of year is just beginning (The Christmas Season). There is nothing as special as Thanksgiving.
Thank you for being here my turkey friends all year long so far and we still have a full week to enjoy in this thread. Oh and we do still continue in our Awesome Autumn by the way. And it is definitely later autumn now here but still autumn and that is extra special too. Keep it real turkey friends. Have a great 2nd Half Of November!

Halloween ended two weeks ago and next week it's Thanksgiving. Time can be so cruel sometimes. Even when you try and enjoy every day, it's just racing around. I wonder though, is January or February going to blow by like this? I really doubt it lol.

I agree that the word “special” is the perfect word to describe Thanksgiving. And we’re just one week away. Wow…and this is the final Thanksgiving thought we will have in this thread.
Nope, don’t want to think about the 2024 thread yet. We still have a whole week to enjoy.
